Obatala is also known as the 'King of the White Clothes' and no Orisha is above him except Oloddumare which is the Supreme Being among the Yorubas.

The way you yell his name like that... I think you will scare him off...🤣🤣🤣, because he is a soft spoken, calm, logical orisha.
He loves to challenge us. So he will send out people to make life difficult. Personally, he needs to give those of us with disabilities a break. 🤔🥺Anyways thank you so much for your video. So much wisdom for such a young lad. Ase.

Hi folks now remember Obatala doesn’t get to be Oba for nothing he has aspects,Roads, avatars of warriors as well.He can when angered be hotter than the red Orisa (Shango,Oggun, Oya Soppono(Babaluaiye, Aganju,Oina, those whose energies are manifested in war bloodshed, illness, Etc
He’s truly Big Papa.under Olofin Olorun,Oloodumare (Yoruba equivalent of the Creator God)

All the traumas I endured made me lose faith in a higher power because I know damn well all that wasn’t my karma. I been living/struggling with undiagnosed autism all my life and worse
It’s funny my favorite color was white before I had a reading and found out my orisha was Obatala

I love the information in this video, however, multiple orishas have roads/aspects to them where they are the opposite gender. The orisha represents energies that we are either born with or developed over time, so when we research them, we get the luxury of seeing that energy in different scenarios male, female, feminine, masculine, rich, poor, etc. when receiving divination you get the story that applies to your life specifically.

So I'm listening to this video while I'm in the shower, and a spider comes swinging down from the ceiling. I decided to stop the shower and get out so the water and steam didn't kill it. Next thing i know the dang spider is swinging towards me like it's on a bungee cord 🕷️!!! So i ran. The end❤️🕷️💚

Since the lore is passed down verbally, I’ll bet it’s more “genuine” compared to other religions. In history, literacy and access to printing presses were elite hobbies, so the wealthy would insert their ideologies into their Holy Books… eliminate the books and you eliminate the possibility of adulteration to benefit the wealthy and privileged…

Its honestly not something a lot of our parents who truly lived with it mostly because of how deep and intense it actually is. Orishas are very expecting when they provide and you have to be fully committed not just time but with offerings and prayers to avoid reverse effects which are often very intense.

According to Baale Olukunmi Egbelade- Yemoja (& before her, was “Yemoo”) was the female Orisha that helped Obatala create the first human bodies. Yemoja provided Obatala with her divine-water, as one cannot have clay without water, & most of the human body is water. There is a gender-fluidity to Obatala s/he, & female paths. Both the feminine & masculine create human life, but the feminine does the majority of that sacred work. Yemoja is the paramount Orisha of motherhood, as she is the (metaphysical) mother of all Orishas & the mother of humanity etc. Like the Orisha Yemoo, Yemoja is typically pared with Obatala. And Yemoja was one of the 16 Orishas sent by Olodumare to create creation/Earth. Both Yemoja & Obatala have tremendous Aje (female power/energy). Please don’t do what christians & colonizers did, & male-wash god & human-creation symbolism within Yoruba religion. Olodumare is genderless & is God, but is represented through they’re children the major-Orishas. Love your mothers, they literally risked their lives to sculpt you with their eggs & wombs. Iyami-Aje.

My disagreements in this video are two: where he said that it would be rare for Ọ̀ṣun to have male priests dressed in yellow. That's wrong because the title of Baálè or "Chief priest" of a temple is always a man. Women are more likely to be involved in spiritual life in general as it always has been there so they make the greater part of the community and this is accross the board for all orisha whether male and female.
Yemọja in Lukumi is the wife of Ọbàtálá, in Yorùbáland it's Yémowó. Ọbàtálá and Yémowó give birth to Yemọja and Orangan which give birth to all other Òrìṣà.

@@izdiharmuhammadproductions4640 to my knowledge the story isn't a moral lesson but an illustration of a universal concept.
