One of the reason is cleanliness bcs it will eat everything including its own feces. Even chicken or beef are prohibited if not slaughter in Islamic way. It also doesn't mean any chicken or beef can be slaughtered & eaten just like that. It includes many other factors. Does the animal healthy & mature enough? Is the knife sharp enough? Does you slaughter it in the name of God? Does the slaughter house clean? Did you clean the meat properly? Where did you get the animal? There are many things to consider if you dwell into it deeply. It's not just you slaughtered it & then it's halal to be eaten. It must be halal from taking care of it till before you cook it. That's how careful the true Islam way. We may strive to be as good as him but we also have to think about it. Is it within our capacity? Can we really do them justice? Marriage is not a game. It's a big responsibility & sacred. About LGBT, from my shallow understanding, it's not a sin if you have those desire but not act upon it. For example when you see money & want to steal it but decided not to. It's not a sin. That's why there's jihad in Islam. To strive against it. It's not our business if you do it privately but it's wrong when you do it publicly & force it upon others. That's all I can say. If any of you still want more explanation please find an Islamic scholar that knows more.

WOW THIS IS SO SATISFYING TO WATCH because they explain thoroughly and clearly, especially Ali. I’m so grateful to have you guys as my brother and sister!
I want to add this verse for the polygamy question And if you fear that you will not deal justly with the orphan girls, then marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four. But if you fear that you will not be just, *then [marry only] one* or those your right hand possesses. That is more suitable that you may not incline [to injustice]. ( Quran 4:3) Islam neither encourage nor forbid polygamy but should be noted Quran is the only religious scripture that explicitly tell its believer to marry only one and put limit to polygamy.
yeah, in other words if you cannot do justice to the women if you want to marry more than one, it is not encouraged nor adored by Allah....but it is still allowed for polygamy [because it brings the benefit for the offspring], but still Allah loves the most to those who do justice [love and marry one woman].
@@akihibara6436 yes, for the Muslim that actually understand what polygamy means in Islam, are less likely to be into polygamy... because truthfully said, as human, it is hard to do justice and treat all equally. for example, if you marry 4 women, u cannot just buy one ring for a women. u need to buy all 4 rings instead. otherwise u being injustice to the other wives. even if u're ultra rich, u can't buy time. so u need to equally spend time with all the wives and the kids equally, also Islam not recommended the wives to stay under one roof. Means u have to have 4 houses, and u have to spend day for each houses. that's why, if u can't do all of that. don't even think to get more wives, better of with just one, u will get better life... less problem, less drama and everything LOL

Okay I know this is out of topic, but I really enjoy listening to Ali speaking in Japanese. It sounds so nice! And the explanation he gave is also very simple and straightforward, that I'm pretty sure non-Muslim people can understand it~
Very very good explanation of Muslim in Malaysia or Muslim in general. Totally depending on the person what he/she choose to follow. I like how he explain the flexibility of Malaysian Muslim, but also explain the actual rules that muslim need to follow at the same time. The best video I've ever seen so far regarding this topic.
Personally, as far as LGBT goes, as long as they don't force their ideals upon others, I will do the same. While I do have a personal stance on this issue, as the old saying goes; "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" And I tend to stay quiet about my personal opinions on certain things. Great talk Aki-san!
but the discrimination towards lgbt people is real though... my opinion : - sexuality is a personal and private matter for every individual - we dont have any rights to judge them as the saying goes “ALLAH is the only one who truly have rights to judge” - if you are lgbt in Malaysia and might be a muslim, just dont purposely expose yourself and show and give unapropriate example to young gennerations nice video Aki, keep it up✨👌🏼👍🏼👏🏼 informative, educational and briliant
@@akihibara6436 Here's another thought to put into perspective; Read a book too closely and you will end up not being able to see what's happening around you... Islam demands that you live a moderate lifestyle. Too much of anything (even good things) can lead to bad things happening. I'm not a holy man and I have sinned a few times myself numerous times in past as well. Those that claim that they never sinned (aside the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him) is DEFINITELY lying. Too much faith can also be bad. I mean, I don't know if anyone realizes this, in Indonesia, there have been COUNTLESS people there that claim that they are "the next last prophet after Muhammad" or "a secret messenger from Allah" or something or another. When your faith is TOO strong, you tend to delude yourself in this line of thought; "I am a chosen one" fyi, there are specific magic spells (yes, in Islam, we consider magic exist, but we are forbidden to use them since it will forfeit our rights to enter heaven) that target those of higher faith even more easily than your average Ali or Ahmad.

Wow! Aki chose the right persons to interview for the topic. Ali seems to be a very clever young man. He can speak a foreign language (other than English) fluently and he can answer & explain in an easy for a not-yet-Muslim to understand the teachings of the Islam religion...👏👏👏👍👍👍

Great content Aki-san! I love when you explore different context of Malaysia from your eyes. You should do interviews like this for other religions and cultures as well ❤
Reading the comments I can’t help but sigh about the pork comments. First the dua lipa case, then that Korean artist nickname case. Sometimes I feel like all I read about Islam in Malaysia revolves only around babi, when there’s so many other nicer things to talk about. I think Ali did a great job educating non Muslims about Islam. He is not preaching to fellow Muslim brothers/sisters, but raising awareness to non Muslim people. And all they need to know is that Muslim people don’t eat pork and don’t drink alcohol, full stop. Now that they know that, they won’t serve their Muslim friends these food, and we’d be happy, since there is a 20% sst gov tax on pork products, it’s expensive lol. Alcohol too is expensive. Anyway, the most important thing is that non Muslim must understand that even beef, chicken etc (except fish) can be non halal, which he explained clearly in the video. I have good Muslim friends who I go out for meals with, but I always check with them if it’s ok to dine or take away at a selected restaurant even if it’s only serving chicken since I know that chicken can be non halal too, so that point is very very important for non Muslims to understand. If only other points pointed out by Ali and Ai were enforced as strict as the pork issue, perhaps my divorced friends would have an easier life. Not only 2 of my friends divorced their husbands because they caught their husband cheating, but their now ex husband is not even paying child support. I’m sure many of us know at least one person in our lives that is in this predicament, and we all know it’s tough as hell being a single mother, raising 2-3 kids. Edit: They should have pointed out that amphibians is not halal too though. I didn’t know this either until my Muslim friends told me many years back. Also, if they add sake in the food, then it’s not halal, even if they light fire to burn out the alcohol. Some non Muslim people may have the misconception that if the alcohol is burnt out, it’s ok.
miss, u have my utter respect regarding the knowledge u possess. thank you for caring for your muslim friends and i hope they will always do the same to u.

@@eone2345 Both answers are acceptable, only for rigid Muslim it will be considered as wrong answers. Considering he explained it to a non Muslim, especially Japanese people that have less community of Muslim and Christian at their country, all of the answers are fairly accurate as a glance answer to a non Muslim. Apart from the explanation from both guests are very good, the questions that you come out are very very good at the first place. They are thoroughly touch on simple basic questions that lot of non muslim are very curious about. Even me as Muslim was very excited to watch it. Good job,👍
Ali is way more smooth in speaking Japanese than the girl, she's still have accent problem,ww, but keep going.( •̀ᄇ• ́)ﻭ✧ファイティン!! I'm impressed of how good they speak Japanese. As a half Japanese-Malaysian Muslim, I really admire these two young people who know their religion well at their age, and how to explain the points to others. 16:12 About the person who sleeps all the day when fasting, his is considered the same as the one who fasts and awakes, as long as he doesn't stuff his mouth with anything. That's the hukum for them we were thought in our school.
Basically their explanation on the given questions are best, kudos to them. However, there are some points that they've missed for me. For example, the polygamy part, it is actually permissible one of the reason is to help the widows and their children because basically they have lost the man who have been feeding them (in Islam, men are responsible to take care of wife and the children financially), and polygamy is not a privilege but a burden responsibility to men. The other regarding LGBT, because Aki raised a question that is actually have the solution. In Islamic legislative system, there are cases when an individual born with two reproductive organs. For this individual, he/she is given the choice of gender with condition which organ is more dominant for him/her. Other than that, the prohibition is to protect the mankind for the longer term, because if everyone choose ro marry with same sex, then the number of birth will be decreasing drastically. In today's context, this will affect the livehood of the elders because there is no young generation that will generate pensions for them. Also, I think that when they both mentioned about fasting in Ramadhan is to help us understand the feeling of the poors, they forgot to mention that Muslims also required to pay a type of alms-giving in Ramadhan called zakat fitrah. The money collected from them will be distributed to the poors. Just two cents from me.
Regarding the pig part, I believe Ali deliberately picked the reason out of all, so that non-Muslims like me could logically understand why eating pork is not good for health.

WOW THIS IS SO SATISFYING TO WATCH
because they explain thoroughly and clearly, especially Ali. I’m so grateful to have you guys as my brother and sister!
I want to add this verse for the polygamy question
And if you fear that you will not deal justly with the orphan girls, then marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four. But if you fear that you will not be just, *then [marry only] one* or those your right hand possesses. That is more suitable that you may not incline [to injustice]. ( Quran 4:3)
Islam neither encourage nor forbid polygamy but should be noted Quran is the only religious scripture that explicitly tell its believer to marry only one and put limit to polygamy.
yeah, in other words if you cannot do justice to the women if you want to marry more than one, it is not encouraged nor adored by Allah....but it is still allowed for polygamy [because it brings the benefit for the offspring], but still Allah loves the most to those who do justice [love and marry one woman].
Great.. I wish i wanna marry one of u guys😅 i mean ur kind of men of understanding.. Unfortunately it's so hard to find in m'sia😔

MAI speaks Japanese so well, and he gave a great impression of Islam in Malaysia! his polite attitude and moderate but detailed stances truly represent many of my Malay friends. I learned a lot from him
Ali is so wise at that age. Amazed with his explanation.
Thanks for sharing this. Very interesting and useful topic for the young generation Malaysian.
Nice video, and proud to have Malaysians Muslim that can explain about Islam in Japanese 😉👍❤️
Okay I know this is out of topic, but I really enjoy listening to Ali speaking in Japanese. It sounds so nice! And the explanation he gave is also very simple and straightforward, that I'm pretty sure non-Muslim people can understand it~
Wow I found this video very informative to me as a Malaysian Chinese as well! Thanks Aki and Ali Ai for the sharing :D
Personally, as far as LGBT goes, as long as they don't force their ideals upon others, I will do the same. While I do have a personal stance on this issue, as the old saying goes;
"If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all"
And I tend to stay quiet about my personal opinions on certain things.
Great talk Aki-san!
@Phase Atrix the chemicals are making frogs and fishe gay
but the discrimination towards lgbt people is real though...
my opinion :
- sexuality is a personal and private matter for every individual
- we dont have any rights to judge them as the saying goes “ALLAH is the only one who truly have rights to judge”
- if you are lgbt in Malaysia and might be a muslim, just dont purposely expose yourself and show and give unapropriate example to young gennerations
nice video Aki, keep it up✨👌🏼👍🏼👏🏼
informative, educational and briliant

Here's another thought to put into perspective;
Read a book too closely and you will end up not being able to see what's happening around you...
When your faith is TOO strong, you tend to delude yourself in this line of thought;
"I am a chosen one"
fyi, there are specific magic spells (yes, in Islam, we consider magic exist, but we are forbidden to use them since it will forfeit our rights to enter heaven) that target those of higher faith even more easily than your average Ali or Ahmad.
I really like Ali responds with all Aki questions. I'm proud with u Ali.
I think all videos that i have watched about foreigners asked about Islam, Aki's questions are the most specifci and detail one which is so good because he really curious and want to know about islam that the same time maybe you can share this with people who always misunderstood about Islam. May Allah give you hidayah Aki 😊

Wow! Aki chose the right persons to interview for the topic. Ali seems to be a very clever young man. He can speak a foreign language (other than English) fluently and he can answer & explain in an easy for a not-yet-Muslim to understand the teachings of the Islam religion...👏👏👏👍👍👍

I think Ali did the best job explaining to Aki. Kudos to him! And so young too. Aki also did a good research before conducting the interview and the questions are genuine and inquisitive. Overall I enjoyed this video. Thumbs up!

Love this video💕 love how Aki-san try to learn more about Islam🤗
Care to elaborate a bit more on the dua lipa and/or the korean artist case?
Asmr Lova you can google the issue, it will make both our lives easier that way.
Say it louder for the people at the back 💯
Thank you for the explanation... That's very informative 😊
miss, u have my utter respect regarding the knowledge u possess. thank you for caring for your muslim friends and i hope they will always do the same to u.

ali just giving individual opinion for many answer..
@@firstimer then he should say his opinion shouldn't he? Im not angry or anything but he is representing msia n islam and that sure is a big deal. At least to me. I hope the opening of video states the fact that some answers were opinion based.
Misleading whcih part?
@@nahonuhunihi8922 pork and wudhu parts to list a few
@@eone2345 Both answers are acceptable, only for rigid Muslim it will be considered as wrong answers. Considering he explained it to a non Muslim, especially Japanese people that have less community of Muslim and Christian at their country, all of the answers are fairly accurate as a glance answer to a non Muslim. For Muslim who born Muslim and living in Malaysia, of course all of the answers are inappropriate and not educated. This is a vlog of a non Muslim, so if you expect educated answers, please go to other Dakwah Channel for your own Islam knowledge.
huge respect for both of them. they really have a great knowledge. thumbs up Ali,Ai! 👍
alhamdulillah
congrats to both. really enjoyed listening to their explaination. didnt expect ali to explain with detail but at the same time simply understood

Good answer from Ali & Ai 💕 goodluck with your futher study guys ~~
Ali is way more smooth in speaking Japanese than the girl, she's still have accent problem,ww,
but keep going.( •̀ᄇ• ́)ﻭ✧ファイティン!!
That's the hukum for them we were thought in our school.
seeing how fluent ali speaks, im more motivated to study japanese T_T
👍👍
Very good video, aki picked the right young muslims to find out more about muslim practices and culture
