You haven't mentioned things like magnetic does more damage to nullifier's bubble and also increases damage against overguard, so it actually has some use for other factions rather than corpus.
Like another comment said, magnetic also deals bonus damage to overguard! And proccs the same electricity status as when depleting shields - Making it great in general use when eximus are bountiful :)
