It's that time, again! Another Disney packing video. I flew Spirit Airlines with my 5 year old son and we packed in personal items only. I'm getting pretty good at "packing light", but I'm still working on it ;) Hopefully this helps other chronic over packers, like myself. Packing light and minimalist travel is always the best 😊
This gives me so much anxiety lol I could never pack this little lol 😂. We’re flying frontier though so was very interested in personal items. We did pay for check bags but I think frontier makes everyone put personal items in the sizer
It's taken me YEARS to wittle down my packing. LOL. I have another packing video from November trip where we did check 2 bags, because we were going for a week. On short trips, I've been successful with personal items only :)
I have kids and always fly Spirit because of the cheap costs. I also purchase the tics at airport counter because it makes the fare even more cheaper 🎉
I've done that once! It was about $60 cheaper. But, I live an hour and a half from the airport, so I can only do that when I have a flight out before I'm taking the next one😔
Wow I didn't realize our little guys are right about the same age. My son turns 5 in the summer! A solo trip would be so fun!

This is obviously for summer spring or fall. Not winter here. 3 days at Disney depending on the weather since I'm a season pass holder. I have the tennis type dresses that have the shorts made in they're lightweight fast drying fabric Three of those take up absolutely no space, The bra is made into them. You can add a sweater over them if it gets chillier, Crocs if you're going to be on water rides because they'll stay on or a shoe that can get wet like the Hoka water shoes are great. I carry matching socks and high top tennis shoes because of a disability. So obviously wear the high top tennis shoes pack whatever you want to get wet. I don't have any but Teva sandals seem to do really good wet too, always carry a water poncho it'll fit in your fanny pack takes up no space and you will need it.
A stroller for a 5-year-old is completely unnecessary I've seen people there with 10-year-olds and strollers it's ridiculous if your child so lazy they can't walk or so out of shape they can't walk then you need to do something else
Question, did you have any trouble with the PediaSure? I was wondering if maybe you could get your doctor to write a prescription so it can go through?

Get a pediatrician letter for anything may be more for his weight gain. All will go through then
If it were a longer trip, I usually do a grocery delivery order and get pediasure or orgain for him. He would have survived on regular chocolate milk for a few days if needed, but it went through just fine, because they were unopened 😊 They just had to do extra testing .

Because it's the only space in my house that I can hide from the kids/dogs 🙃
Any child over five does not need a stroller I've seen people put 10-year-olds in a stroller here if your child so out of shape and not disabled You do not need a stroller for anyone that's in kindergarten and up, My children didn't use a stroller after preschool
That's awesome that you have marathon runner children! However, my littles are not used to walking 20,000 steps in a day and don't nap, so little legs get tired. We'll continue to use a stroller as long as they need it ☺
If you think your child doesn't walk 20,000 steps a day at school then you need to rethink the school you're using
Yes they do, I would use one if it wasn’t frown upon 😅plus it helps with bags
