Despite these problems, Firefly achieved a notable revenue milestone, propelling Star Rail to the top of the global revenue charts for June with $92 million, according to Sensor Tower. But why didn't the banner hit $100 million? The likely reason is that the Android chart was "frozen" for about 15 days this month, and Sensor Tower didn't update it. Realistically, she could have surpassed $100 million or even reached $150 million.

Apparently there was an error in this month’s data in that the first 5 days (around June 18-24) sales of firefly’s release wasn’t actually recorded so the actual numbers might go way higher. Btw this bug apply to all gacha games this month.
yes it applies to all gacha games but from the time frame itself, it gutted HSR the most since the first 3 days of every banner has the highest percentage of the revenue
That's right the info said 15 days not sure when it started but if you say it's true then the first week of the Firefly banner Is not counted which makes the revenue lower.

The fact that they put Firefly and ruan mei at the same time is really making her break effect so strong it makes alot of f2p finally break their f2p status
F2p here. Honestly I think the f2ps that didnt already have ruan mei were foolish as heck since she was the first 5* limited harmony character and harmony was already considered the most op path with Bronya and Tingyun dominating people's rosters regularly.
I made sure I had enough jades saved up for her as soon as she released.
@@Ghalion666 I'm f2p too and I just came back to the game my team before I come back is like lvl 40/50 and I leave the game quite early if I remember correctly I leave when jingyuan first ever banner came out so for someone like me or new player we doesn't have the luxury to choose so after I clear the story I really like firefly try to pull her and get her and ruan mei by luck but tbh I go back and forth before actually try getting ff because this issue I think a lot of people that have for some reason did skip or just lose 50/50 or come back player just think this is the dirty way to do rerun banner

I dunno if it was just firefly though, a lot of people who missed ruan mei also pulled for her or her eidolons and lightcone. Attributing two of the most popular characters run to just one of them seems misleading.

And she and penacony was the reason I left, felt boring/ a repeat of honkai impact 3rd so I just kept playing genshin rather than bother to update hsr, did eventually come back for Stella after the stuttering mess that wandering waves where on my PC.

i strongly believe a lot of her popularity is because she was turned made into TB's girlfriend and it attracted those waifu lovers/shippers. it made everyone crazy for her. i think the devs saw how much people like that, so they played into it and pushed it. you could tell that was the vibe based off the penacony ending with that final scene. it gave shoujo vibes.

Multiple reasons: Stellaron hunter which is one of the most popular groups. She looks very cute, but also very badass with a good backstory. She is a very powerful character in gameplay and easy to build. Also she basically has 2 designs in and out of battle which appeals to a lot of people.

To be fair, acheron did way better, 144M for march (wich you can debate over it, because acheron did pop out 27th march), and it was the highest knowed gain. And if you talk about number of warp, well acheron still explode everythin with over 40 million, while firefly manage to get 18,5 millions, wich still is good, but 7 characters manage to do it. Sorry if it look harsh, but when i see someone put numbers to prove something which isn't true (i wish firefly had the best sales), i try to show him what's real

Jade and the IPC you NEVER seek help from unless you're desperate and have no other solution to your problems. Because the price you pay for that help is massive, and I don't mean money.

Even I spent money on her banner. I only do that if I cannot get enough pulls for a character I really and I mean really want. Blade was the only time outside of Firefly. I spent 60 dollars on Firefly’s banner. Much more than I probably should have. I only wanted to get her once and then her Light Cone after 70 pulls. Pull 80 I lost the 50/50 and spent money to have another four ten pulls. I got her in those. I also E6 every 4 Star on the banner except Misha. I only pulled 3 of him. Honestly I am not upset about the results of my pulls but I would have preferred getting Firefly without having to spend any real cash. The leftover money from the gift card is going to my Crunchyroll.
