I got a small bench top press I use it works beautiful basically the same way you do driving out with a punch I just put the new ones in with the Press. Great video!
Great video! I have a question for you…. I have a 2017 zr8 and I had significant hesitation at engagement. I pulled the clutch and have pitting both in the primary and secondary. I had a local sled mechanic look at it, best guess is it had a bolt in it which it eventually spit. He suggested bringing it to a machinist as the pitting isn’t terrible, much cheaper than replacing primary and secondary. In your experience, is the machinist route a viable option? Hopefully you have a great season, big fan of the channel!
Yes , a machinist can fix it up , might have to remove a shim from spider assembly when done , depends how much he takes off ! I have had it done before to true the clutch faces , it works !
I got some new comet weights for my 108exp. Gram scale is showing i got 2 of them on the heavy side about half a gram. I googled searched and found some guys like to grind their weights within about 0.10 of a gram. Do you ever grind yours, and if so, how do you go about it?
I grind them all the time , especially from new ! They are never balanced ! I grind them down the side , that way you dont change the characteristics of the weight ! I try to balance them until they are exactly the same weight !
Good vid man! Mine wore pretty bad last year (to the point there was no bushing on one side) and my axys only has 900k lol. How often do you change yours?
The return of the king
So great to see some Digit9 vids again!!!!!!!!
I swear you saved me $5000 this season alone .
I've also used the vice itself to press the bushing in. Thanks for doing a tutorial for us!

Polaris tells me they dont sell bushings weights and bushings together......are all polaris bushings the same? Got a 2012 pro
As far as I know , polaris bushings in the weights are all the same ! Look for an after market company , wahl brothers , slp , rec supply !
@@DIGIT9 thanks digit, on it!!!!
Do you have a link to the bushings?
No I dont , most aftermarket places have them !
