It's remarkable that the 2013 Chris Paul and Klay Thompson would probably beat their 2023 versions in terms of agility and athleticism but the 2013 Stephen Curry would have absolutely no chance against the 2023 one.
CP3 is older and had a significantly longer prime than Curry tho. Like Curry’s prime started around 2013, CP3’s started around 2006. I feel like a lot of people forget that CP3 was an MVP-caliber player before Curry even entered the league. So when Curry said “it ain’t 2014 anymore…” he’s kinda right. Chris Paul had 8 prime years before Curry even was in the same conversation as him.

@@SJ-di5zu Sure. I wasn't trying so much to make a point against Thompson or Paul. I just wanted to point out that to me Curry's development seems rather exceptional. But maybe it's not. Would love to find out about other players whose 35 year old version would beat their 25 year old one in terms of agility and athleticism.
I actually think Curry today is probably less quick than he was here, but the ball handling is insane now compared to back now. I’m sure that’s partially the way rules have changed though. Also he’s just so much stronger now

I'm a big Steph fan but in this particular "duel" Chris Paul won. Steph only had 2 baskets with 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter while Paul had like 20 points. I mean it was a good game and I'm glad the Warriors won but I wish these click-bait videos would have more accurate titles.
