Squad 44 is the best WWII game out right now, and HLL has been making bad move after bad move. S44 is poised to win a lot of the audience, but that comes with its own major issue. HLL players don't communicate. Ever. They're casual players in the vein of Battlefield. They log on to shoot stuff, not to win a battle using teamwork. And the game is simple enough that it works, but it makes playing HLL awful. Before anyone says "you're on the wrong servers", I played competitive for a long while. I know what servers are good. Those same HLL players are already coming to Squad 44 and starting squads with no communication. And S44 isn't a game you can win without communication. The talking has dropped significantly since the influx of new players, many of whom are from HLL, and it needs to stop. If this is you, quit playing S44 or start talking.
Hell let loose active players: 4,570 Squad 44 active players: 544 i dont think squad 44 will overtake hell let loose anytime soon. also due to the fact that hell let loose simply is a more casual experience which helps with retaining players
I'd rather have a Italian front rather then a Pacific that has been done to death... Also improve the game more rather then add another huge DLC that will cause more issues....
There is not a Pacific theatre with a game like Squad I think the chaos of what it could be is what the excitement would be about. Maybe the devs feel an Italian front falls under Europe, I'd be curious to see what they would say if asked on that topic.
@@oofBOHICAin what way? i play squad on controller and can do everything, same way arma reforger is on xbox which is a far more complex game, sorry cop out imo

@@oofBOHICA yeah HLL has no business being on console. I played it. Yikes. Although, if it's simple enough to go on console, it probably isn't a milsim.
Squad 44 needs to add good Soviet Union maps/faction. HLL absolutely fumbled the play with the Soviet maps, they're god awful. WW2 was 80%+ Soviets vs Europe and lots of people who enjoy the WW2 genre are fatigued with Western Europe battles as they're done to death and aren't really interesting in comparison to the battles that happened in the East. Everyone knows about Moscow and Stalingrad, yet battles that really stood out such as the 1944 battles of Cherkassy-Korsun pocket or The Battle for Darpat or even the immense expanse forward during 1942 are never featured. I could literally go on and on with listing these battles for potential maps but we get the same tired nonsense in every WW2 game that only people "educated" by hollywood know of. The Pacific would be really cool if done correct but I think an even cooler theatre that could also encompass the pacific would be Nationalist Chinese vs Japanese. I don't know of any WW2 game out there that has that. China was the nation that suffered the second highest casualty rate in WW2 after the Soviet Union.
I think that if Squad 44 with its newer push for a better gaming experience and tries to right the things that HLL has struggled at things are going to get really interesting !
@@oofBOHICA 100% bro, I'm keen as. The unfortunate thing is I live in Australia and the Australian population that plays Squad 44 is virtually non-existent. Hopefully this changes very soon.

squad will always be way more difficult to get into, the two games have different purposes. HLL is more satisfying IMO, has better graphics and sound, and you can easily play a fun game quickly without taking it too seriously. It's more complicated than battlefield, but not as complicated as squad. Squad is a walking simulator and lots of players just don't want to deal with that style of gameplay!
HLL def has quality to the overall masses, I will say I do disagree with audio I think Squad takes the cake on that but that might also just might be my settings. I appreciate you checkin out the vid!
Considering Squad 44s all time peak is what Hell let loose got in the last 24hrs for players, I think you’re overreacting a bit lol. Been playing both games for many years, and sometimes I can’t even play squad 44 cause there isn’t enough people to fill one US server
If I had to guess you haven’t played recently there is always US servers. There’s actually usually multiple I play squad 44 most days. It is growing, and yes maybe a tad exaggerated for the click bait value lol
