Peach's Australia Bill Peach Mt Buffalo 1978

Wonderful episode capturing the glory days of the Mt Buffalo Chalet. My grandfather Roy Schilling even makes an appearance at 17.44. A disgrace that the Victorian Government have allowed this building to fall into disrepair.

Thanks for puttng his on Andrew - I bought the video some years ago. This was made in 1975 by the way - not 1978 and about six months before I started there. I sat opposite the waitresses featured in the dining room and was familar with most of the staff in the video including the head porter who greets Bill on the stairs - he helped get me the job there.

Bill Peach was such a nice guy. I would watch his travel shows again now if I could despite them being obviously dated by modern standards.
