I agree _however_ I ask you to consider the point I am about to make as we all go into the post election. The point is how do we respond to the libs, Dems, and lesser evil crowd IF Harris loses? Obviously they 100% are going to blame us more than any other group. It sounds like you plan to say what you stated here right? I believe a much, much more productive reply that is assertive rather than defensive is to say "YES. Yes we did cause your Dem candidate to lose and we are going to do it again & again from here on out _deliberately."_
This is a better answer but it expresses serious determination for one and for two if we pull off doing exactly that (spoiling more elections for Dems in the future) it gives us raw leverage. Either the Dem party can then change or it won't (and it won't). But even if it doesn't (because it won't) if we make it so that the Dems can't win elections their voters will ultimately have to face the reality that they either join us or live under GOP rule forever. Basically if we come to see the spoiler effect as the way to gain leverage we have a very possible path to destroying & replacing the corrupt corporate "party" of the Dems.

What's sad, tragic really, is that if 1) if the Green Party or other parties with similar platforms had the ability to effectively publicize their existence and 2) the masses had the courage to vote their conscience and values, we would have had the Green Party or a Party with a similar platform in government long ago. The masses are easily deprived of information about alternate parties and are easily variously shepherded or disenfranchised into either actively supporting a power structure that is profoundly destructive of their own lives and the health of the nation and planet, or into standing aside and passively allowing the power structure to remain in power. In light of the increasingly entrenched global capitalist oligarchy and its many forms of control and the consequences of climate change beginning to take hold, I feel that humanity's and the planet's future is utterly lost.

If the party establishments aren't attacking you then you aren't making a difference. Kshama has always been an extraordinary pro-worker force. There are very few people, if any, as impressive as she is in this country, in terms of being a positive force for the American worker. If Trump wasn't the Republican candidate, I think there would be an even more massive uptick of people who would be fully on board with her and the green party. I'm not sure how anyone would be able to provide any real criticism of her plan in that case. As we get closer to election day, the Trump campaign has become more and more unhinged. The best argument in favor of the Dems is the GOP. At this point that's just about the only argument in favor of the Dems. This system is not sustainable, that's obvious.
After the election, regardless of who wins, we need to put down some serious pressure on Dems, Republicans, and the international community to take positive action. Pro-worker, pro-Palestine, pro-climate, pro-peace action. People have far more power than they think, but there needs to be unity. Solidarity between workers, the media, unions, even religions, is crucial. All progress minded people need to get serious after this election. The next few years will be crucial for the entire future of the world. Everyone should listen to people like Kshama very closely. Serious allies of the working class like her are incredibly valuable.

This boils down to messaging. I've watched dozens of interviews from Jill and Butch and they always frame their chances in a reasonable sense of optimism not just for this cycle but beyond. You are not going to stir people to action with sober cynicism. And if you think people need this level of coddling over this complete non issue than you are simply barking up the wrong tree. We know we cannot outright win this cycle, but insisting that no hopeful language be used is ridiculous. There are way way way more serious fissures that will have to be filled in the expanding coalition building moving forward, spending another second on whatever this is, is a complete waste of energy.

As much as I support Kshama here in Seattle, and I do, I'm also aware that much of the Seattle accomplishments she speaks of did not last. Kshama's issue movements pushed the ball up out of the problem cup but at the same time a lack of preparing a new cup for it to tip into allowed opposition to scuddle the work or just the lack of strategic analysis left some issue accomplishments with nowhere to settle. On the latter, e.g., the ethical city banking initiative failed to find a bank other than Wells Fargo who could handle the city's needs. Kshama can make a tweet and the next day 100+ people show up ready to loudly protest; but in the case of the ethical banking move, it was splashy and intuitive to get public support to divest the city from Dakota Access Pipeline, yet the better strategic move would have been to put support into existing work for local-regional public banking, creating the proper solution to ethical city banking once the will to change had pushed the matter far enough. See what I mean? And that's characteristic of Kshama's apparent vision on matters. The so-called 'Amazon tax' was quickly reversed, $15/hr was inadequate at the point it was enacted - she leads the movements offensively while failing to nurture simultaneously the proper structures and systems to transform the problems.

Anyone not advocating for a decrease in GDPs and Consumption is just a RWer, whether they realize they are or not. The Green Party is NOT advocating for a decrease in decrease in GDPs and Consumption, because it's a RW-shill operation.
The Green party is just like the Libertarian Party, the Tea Party, and the Freedom Caucus. They are ALL bought, owned, bribed, & controlled by the corrupt, wealthy-class authoritarians & their corrupt RW-politics. Just like the RW-extremist Repub party and the moderate-RW Dem party.

The Green Party is NOT fighting FOR corporate hegemony -- that is NOT what the wealthy-class has designed the Green Party to do.
The Green Party is PRETENDING to fight AGAINST corporate hegemony -- that is what the wealthy-class has designed the Green Party to do.

Kshama Sawant is one of my heroes. All the same, since stepping down from local politics in Seattle and starting Workers Strike Back, she has become too much of a complainer, in my opinion. She complained and complained about Sean Fain, but he accomplished a great result. Perhaps Kshama simply needs to learn that different people are going to have different strategies, even if she doesn't always agree with them. We need major unity right now on the left, but Kshama is becoming perhaps too much of a complainer. It may be better for her to voice these differences of strategy outside of the public eye. I'm beginning to grow tired of her complaining against co-fighters doing their very best to oppose this horrific system we live in. We love you Kshama.
