Brent Venables has basically rebuilt the Sooner program from the Lincoln Riley nuking in which everyone outside OU fans thought that we were going to be "the next Nebraska."
OU is trending upwards on the recruiting trails and he has this past season's victory in his pocket.
This was more than enough to warrant the small extension he got. Let Venables win a championship....
Welcome home Ian! Hopefully I bump into you at Starbucks or something! 🤘🏾
Just ask A@M about those long term high dollar contracts in a buy out. Every major blue blood school is the same you either win or you're gone regardless of a contract.
Only time will tell if that was a good decision or not. In a couple of years, if things aren't going well, Oklahoma fans are going to regret being stuck with him for a while.
It's not like venables is in demand and they're afraid to lose him to someone.
Lol and stark has one 10 win season in ten years... yet he is worth it right????
@@Godisgood13208 don't choke on your cigarettes weirdo
Let's see BV got a 10 plus win season in year two.... while it took stark ten years to get his first... wonder who is the better coach
It's the younger guy who became a head coach 13 years before the other guy.
Sark beats Oklahoma for the next 10 years. Save this text.
Oklahoma will still beat Texas.
