Joel Galvan; DMT is a drug, a chemical substance that occurs in many plants and animals. It gives you a powerful, some may say magical, hallucinogenic experience...
Speaking of Islam. There is nothing above or comparable to God. “He is Allah, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is nothing comparable to Him.” DMT and God are not the same.

Oh jesus, I am SOOOO glad I just found this episode. Rashad has a hidden ability to put words together, to try and explain these spiritual/mental things, that most people know are impossible to explain, or very difficult to describe to someone else. I literally loved every second of this just now, listening to this man explain his mentality to all of us outsiders. The human brain is incredible, and so is mother nature.

Mike's a natural at this. I love how comfortable he is on the mic only 17 episodes in. Those moments where he opens up and you can see the emotion in his eyes and it almost sounds like he's on the verge of crying, make this podcast come across as super genuine - which it is. This is Tyson making himself vulnerable and coming out to the world as more than a fighter and I think he might be just as good at this, if not better.

Mike Tyson, I grew up watching you as a savage boxer and true competitor. It must be difficult to have your entire life and its challenges displayed to the world under a microscope. As a grown man now, I would've never expected to see such a growth in you. Such a humbled, kind hearted, intelligent man. Your experiences in life couldve killed several men, yet you've turned pain into perspective, hurt into love, and negativity into positivity. In your life process of growth, you constantly inspire others. How can one man accomplish so much in life? I'd be happy to accomplish 10% of what you have.
I would just like to say thank you. And I plan on doing my toad trip soon.

Rashad is the man.. I've followed his career since 2006. He started out on TUF fighting heavyweights and came into the UFC as a light heavyweight although he was best suited for middle weight. He was fighting guys twice his size his whole career and his chin just wasn't the same after getting cracked too many times by bigger men. If he started out at middle weight I believe he would still be fighting in 2019.

I'm only 8 minutes in to this 2 hour interview, and I'm already captivated. Rashad is such a well spoken and engaging person. I loved watching him fight, and I haven't heard from him in quite a while, so for me it's like listening to a different person. It's great to see he is mentally open and engaging in life as fully as possible. I always worry about retired fighters finding a path after fighting, and it's so nice to see this video.
