When guys are paired for a match do they consider the muscle development of the individuals or is it just by weight?

so in wrestling it's just about weight class and not really by height? like a 4'11 guy weighing 165 lbs can go up against a 5'10" guy weighing 165 lbs?
Technically, that is correct. But, practically speaking, height divergences as large as the example you shared rarely occur because of age divisions and weight cutting.
@@MidwestWrestle is the rule to compete only with an opponent of the same weight set in stone? do you remember times when they made exceptions?
@@d12kiem7 Of all the rules in the book, weight restrictions are one of the most strictly enforced in order to ensure fairness. If a wrestler weighs 0.1 above the weight class, they must wrestle in the next highest weight class. No exceptions.

How was this match allowed without anyone wearing colors?
It was part of a dual meet. Since the colors remain the same for all fourteen matches, ankle bands are often forgone in the interest of time and efficiency.
My indian friend is currently studying in Drexel uni
