- On Friday May 7th, 2010 I went out for a day of railfanning with stormy skies looming for a pair of Conrail units on NS train 15T. Backtracking to Vermilion, Ohio, I set up trackside for some stormy shots and the tornado sirens went off. This was indeed a warning (not a watch) indicating a touchdown, and the hail began to fall as the skies turned an odd green shade. To my surprise, a Conrail SD60I showed up, and soon after a former Conrail dash 8 rocketed past, overtaking the slow-moving westbound!
