Vigilante was awesome. People say he needs his own show, but I disagree. His character works best as the sidekick type, the comedic relief. His character is best when playing off others, not solo. He will be back in season 2, and that’s great. This show exceeded expectations
I don't know man I think he could work alone no one thought peacemaker could work with his own show from what he did in suicide squad maybe vigilante just needs a shot

@@Capybara2240 For most actors it's easier to get into the accent at the beginning of the day and stay in it between takes. some actors if they're extra will stay in the accent for the entire shoot, even in their time off. It's not always something they can effortlessly turn on and off. acting with an accent isn't as straightforward as acting with your natural accent. If an actor drops an accent in the middle of a shoot day, it could cost a lot of time (and money) trying to work back into the same thing. dropping and picking and accent back up in a shoot is how we get inconsistent and shity accents on screen.
Tom Holland has told a story about how he went "Full British" one day of shooting on spiderman homecoming and he didn't even realize he was doing it. they had to recut the scene because the director didn't catch it either.

Easily the biggest breakout character of the show. Every thing he did was an unexpected curveball, the times you expect him to say something normal he shows he’s a total idiot, but then when you think he’s just a wannabe who can’t do anything he turns around and proves himself over and over as one of the best combatants in the show. All with spot on comedic timing.
I’ve said this show was way better than it had any right to be on paper, and Vigilante is a big example of why.
Sometimes all you need is a wildcard. For the group dynamic.
Harcourt: Mom
Murn: Dad
Adebayo: Aunt
Peacemaker: Big Brother
Economos: Middle Brother
Vigilante: Little Brother
Eagly: House pet
Judomaster: The neighbors kid
White Dragon: Racist Grandpa

Thousands is a little excessive right? There were like 10 people, it's totally within the realm of possibilities that Butch and Sundance jumped over the bullets and then the other guys guns jammed and Butch and Sundance killed everyone else.

I know alot of people want him to have his own show, and I'm not saying it wouldn't work but I think his character is at his best when he's bouncing off of other people. Idk I think him by himself might be "too much of a good thing" in a way. I would much prefer a buddy cop type of show with him and Peacemaker as the main characters. Maybe the other characters from this show could pop up here and there or be in an episode or two. But I think just the two of them would be golden 😂
This... He works best in controlled doses when he has another character who can play straight so he has someone to come bounce off.
I love him too bits. But turning him into a main character just would not work and would be more annoying than anything.

The craziest thing is that Freddie Stroma was a last minute hire for the role. The original Vigilante actor was fired halfway through filming because he wasn’t working and they had to re-film all the scenes with him.

Vigilante being genuinely competent is probably the funniest part about him.
Vigilante was such an odd, interesting character. He gave off major serial killer vibes, and in fact I'm pretty sure it was intentional that he was almost identical to Jeffrey Dalhmer. He was a goofy, regular seeming guy but actually regular people were clearly uneased by him (the scene by the dumpsters when he was "happy" about his girlfriend's pregnancy). He also was sort of made out to be a joke, but in actuality he was REALLY adept at combat based on his prison fight scene. The dude was a contradiction.
