rng to get free stuff is stupid when you're forced to spend quartz if you're unlucky like me.. I've spent over 17k quartz 😢 and yeah I did compose and bought/hold selector but still not enough 😂
I pity Cold Case with 12x10 and I got 3 SSR left at the end with 390 points, so 2 selector. Took me 2700 quartz to get 3rd SSR (guess I am lucky?) to get Yan Harim skin for Watson.

It is one of the worst experiences in any gacha I've ever had, but Counterside itself is still such a strong game. It's a shame this black mark wasn't pulled right away and just reworked later on.
That specific mission was easily the most frustrating for me as well, I fused everything including my ASSR ones and still didn't got that one needed for the 35 (got smol Gura 4 times). Had to spend quartz as well for the selector. I would argue the 35 mission and the fact you don't get enough pulls for the 400 draws without looking out for codes (since for some reason they also decided to make pre registration rewards into codes) or exchanging in the store, made this event way worse than what you would expect from a skin collab. As a side note, out of the remaining ones Amelia is the only other who might stream the game. Ina has been on hiatus for months and is only expected to come back in January, while Gura just started a hiatus a few days ago for health reasons.
I don't think she will stream. it's way too late in the event to bother with it and also considering the lackluster reception... Which makes me want to FOMO buy all the skins now because of that. It's pretty much guaranteed it won't ever come back.

Your are not the only one with an unlucky draws. I only manage to get none ASSR but only 3 SSR from the pulls. In the end you have to spend quartz to complete the missions. Not happy with the skin I gotten since it's not the one I was aiming for. To me, this is just a scam collaboration event. In the end you either spend real money or spend quatz. This has been the most upsetting collaboration I ever played. I think I prefer playing other games collaboration that doesn't involve spending real money to get what you want.
My luck was even worse and had to use my 2 selectors to get to the 30 and I'm still 5 away from the stupid mission. The fact that it's entirely possible for bad luck to screw you over on this event is just absolutely BS. This is possibly the worst collab event I've seen in any game up to this point. I've literally never seen another collab event where it's possible to just get absolutely nothing out of the event while trying to complete it. Even the worst collab events I've seen at least had small prizes for players that attempt it but nope, you can end up with literally nothing from the event if you use the locked chibis to fuse in an attempt to finish the event. Absolutely the worst collab event in any game I've seen up to this point.

I was completely out of summons and dupes to use for that dumb collect 35 holomyth trophies mission, plus I used around 4k quartz (which is a lot for me, I'm a small spender). I was completely overlooking the fact that I could just sacrifice the trophies that were locked for more attempts. I ended up getting the free skin without using any more quartz thanks to that tip. It sucks that I had to do that but I got SO MANY FREAKING DUPES.... That mission is total BS.
Collab gacha: 300 rolls for first SSR, then none until the end after I had to spend 10k gems to finish it (31/35 progression). Now just waiting on sim tickets. Can't wait to get Gura, because she is the only one I don't have character for.

Stuck at 34/35 after spending some quartz and unlocking all the trophies for combination. Kinda meh colab, but not really that disappointed since I didn't even know of holo stuff before this colab. Not wasting any more quartz for a hollow skin, wish I could go back and pick the gold binaries instead.

Im so tempted to drop this game because of this I finally finished my 390 pulls ended up with 27/35 collection bought 10 eggs (900quartz) to push to 400 used free egg got to 28 then got 2 guaranteed SSR pushed to 30 and free egg gave me a dup. I literally have nothing left and even if I unlocked everything else I probably wont get to 35. Update: I ended up using 9.9k quartz to break through I feel so defeated...

Collab was such a nothing event. I ended up getting the shark girl skin, which was my second least desired. Least desired being the one for awakened Yuna who I don't have and will probably never get. And aside from that the event was just sort of nothing. I got a shitload of "trophies" which I don't even understand the point of. Didn't have to blow any quartz at least.
I was SOOOO hyped for this event thinking they were going to be units that you can summon. Being a huge Mori Calliope fan, I wanted Calli so bad that I saved up 150 summons for her, only for when the event came out, to be extremely disappointed that I couldn't even summon her...or any of them for that matter... I got some icons and trophies which is nice, but it wasn't great at all...they were only skins which would of been fine if they actually gave you a skin selector or something from the event itself, instead of being what we got. However, this bad iteration of the collab doesn't ruin the game for me, I still love Counterside and will always love it, just was very disappointed really. Also for the skin as a main reward part, they should of made it a selector...so like all of that work for a skin for a unit I don't even own...do ye know how upsetting that is? lol...stll congrats on your luck for getting the one you wanted GR.

I wish I had seeing this video earlier when I finished my missions, I forgot I could unlock my figures to have extra composes and I should have purchased with quartz for the rolls instead of using the currency for 10 rolls, the way you did it was way better. I had to spend 12k quartz to get my last 3 figures for that last mission :(

I am just unlucky, at this point, Idk if i even buy eggs using quarts is worth it, since it's VERY likely for me to get nothing from the eggs and not finish the event because of RNG. anyway happy holidays

No, you are luckier than you think. 30-31 is the average from all quest. You luck have to be above average (or spend a TON of quartz) to complete it. You could easily have started at 30 or 29.

Honestly this collab wasn’t exciting. No hate towards the vtubers but was expecting something different. Despite the skins are really cute, the missions to unlock a skin you can’t even choose is such a letdown. Had to waste almost all my quartz for this collab since I was short of resources like eternium, and the eggs (which i thought they would keep giving throughout the duration of the event). Thanks for the earlier tips on how the event works & congrats on getting the skin you wanted (also got the same one which I was real happy for 😂).

Well this is me just talking but i think that was intentional as hell, anyone that's played gacha games (FGO ,Blue Archive, Genshin) should know the frustration of not getting that one unit in the first few pulls. No lie, but what you went thru was good luck specifically because you didn't spend actual money, just the game currency. It usually doesn't go smooth like that. I'd also like to add to the fact you got a $35 item for free so of course it's gonna be a hassle, but hey you had RNJesus gift you Gura so this is a definite win
I'll say massive let down SOLELY on the RNG skin. I got one for a unit I don't even have. If the skin was a selector, it'd be a somewhat decent one simply for the fact I could get the Lucrecia skin cause her default is fugly. Rest of it is super forgettable, don't care about trophies or dorm stuff.

The code geass colab gave away a free unit Leleuch for just logging in. The only rng in that is remembering to log in everyday.

Making us jump through loops blind folded made this event really annoying for me. They should have made the collection goal 30/30 not 35/35.

I'll say massive let down SOLELY on the RNG skin. I got one for a unit I don't even have. If the skin was a selector, it'd be a somewhat decent one simply for the fact I could get the Lucrecia skin cause her default is fugly. Rest of it is super forgettable, don't care about trophies or dorm stuff.
