- Hi everyone! This is a pretty chill week in my life as a forensic psychology major at arizona state university's west campus. It overall was a very chill, uneventful week but of course that depends on your time management and course load.
I absolutely love going to the pool because I can study, read for fun, or nap there. Its my FAVORITE way to destress. Thankfully it isn't usually very crowded there since it is the west campus.
I hope you enjoy the video, and I look forward to making more!
Awesome video
2 questions for you:
1.) in college I feel like I won’t be productive as much because of how unstructured it is compared to high school any advice for this?
2.) how is dining hall in west campus?
The dining hall is a little limited and so is the POD. You can almost guarantee that there will be pizza and burgers every night for dinner (with some other stations of course). I never really went for breakfast, so I cannot attest to any of that part. One thing I did since I had limited meal swipes was sometimes load up extra for lunch and bring the leftovers to the dorm for dinner.
As for productivity, I had a large desk calendar that I tracked all my assignments through. I think it is KEY to get ahead on all assignments you can. I worked well in my room, but I would totally recommend finding a shaded spot on campus to do work so you can enjoy the weather. The knowledge that the pool was near by was a great incentive to either get my hw done fast OR bring stuff to study/read there. I LOVED reading books in the shallow end.
@@gabbiegardner tysm for replying ❤️❤️
Just started the same program at asu
are the people of west campus friendly? I am hesitant on joining the west campus
Overall I have found that people will be friendly and mean no matter where you go. Every employee at west has been super nice and helpful in my experience though. Maintenance workers are very friendly and quick, food service staff is normally very smiley, many student workers at the pod and the gym are incredibly nice as well. I think it really just depends on who you surround yourself with, but overall I haven't met and "mean"/"unfriendly" people at west. The biggest challenge with west is the fact that it is far away from all the fun on the tempe campus
