Did she try to tie Lorca to his poem, "The Lament for the Death of Ignacio Sanchez Mejias"? Sanchez was a bull fighter and a friend of Lorca. The long poem is worth your time as is the rest of his poetry.
She did mention that poem and how Lorca defined "duende" art as any art with dark notes. She mentioned how Lorca also felt this duende art was very Spanish. I didn't really understand how this tied in though. I probably should have stopped to read the poem and study this topic. I am interested in reading some Lorca though.
