I love what you’re doing and how it just works by you being you so I hope you continue. A recommendation, how I got into sci-fi: Way Station by Clifford D. Simak. Simak is considered a peer of Asimov, Bradbury, and Clark.
First off you're doing a great show about books some of which I never thought of reading. F the a holes! I didn't know Giamatti had his own podcast, thanks for letting me know. Since I was a kid I've read science fiction. Aunt Ursula is on my top four science fiction writer's list along with Ray Bradbury, Philip K. Dick, and J.G Ballard. Try them out. The joke I heard about The Lathe of Heaven is : it's the best Philip K Dick novel Phillip K Dick never wrote. Read like it matters. Maybe it does.
Thank you my friend! I wasn’t aware of Giamatti’s podcast either. It is a fun listen. I’ve missed out on a lot of science fiction. But I’m trying to catch up now! I want to read more Le Guin and Philip K. Dick for sure. I hadn’t heard that joke!
@@readtherightthing I am the same guy who suggested you read The Shell by the way. This novel is also one of my favourites, and I am just glad to share it with fellow readers.. ☺
