My best things are what I'm making for me - there's no doubt the wearer will appreciate the stitching and won't throw it in a washing machine or dryer ;-P I have one ball of NORO Okunoshima - guess I'd better get started on this hat!

When I got to the end of round 5 and my stitch count was spot on @ 60 stitches. Gonna try and post pictures on your Facebook so you can’t see what you think of my first intermediate attempt l😅
Just completed this using a #5 thread in charcoal gray yarn with gold, rust and aqua fleck for upper part, then switched to a blue green yarn for 6 rows, the 1 row of rust+ blue green, 1 row of the charcoal gray, back to 1 row of rust + blue green and final row the blue green. It's SO gorgeous!!
Made this hat for myself. It challenged me but I was able to follow your instructions and make this beautiful hat. Thank you for all the time you take to share your patterns with all of us. I made a video to show off your hat and one of your cowl patterns I was able to stitch up. I hope more people find your channel and subscribe to you.
Crystal, because of the way you teach and show how to do the stitches even though I would not consider myself to be on intermediate level I was able to make this hat. Thank you so much.
You know what I love?.. That I understood every stitch.. about 5 or 6 months ago, I probably wouldn't have understood the fpdc increase. Love this beanie! 💜
This a favorite pattern now. Just finished making this using 2 different multicolor, thinner yarn. Looks amazing. Thank you so much for making easy to follow tutorials. I’m a visual hands on learner. 🙏🏼💞
Love Love Love the pattern. I only wish I had of made the hat in a solid color first to show off the stitches as opposed to the variegated yarn I used and the stitches don’t stand out as much. You can’t see them too good at all. Kudos for an excellent hat pattern though. I really enjoyed making it.
