Becky, thank you so much for sharing how many times you had to use your seam ripper! I’ve only been quilting for a year and get so frustrated when things don’t match up. I always feel like I’m the only one. To actually see a seasoned sewer have an issue made me realize everyone struggles.
I am so glad to see that I am not the only one that has to rip out a seam multiple times because my OCD can’t stand it to be off! I also yell “Why are you still off.” and growl at it 😂😂. Gotta grab one of those seam rippers!
Your choice of fabrics and colors made this hanging stunning! I felt your pain with the matching!! I've done a lot of Sweet Pea designs ITH and sometimes you just have to finagle it like you did. Always have my seam ripper ready. I may have to order this pattern for next year!
This turned out just lovely! I just found out on Thanksgiving that I am going to be a great-grandma, to a boy, in May. Got to get started on the baby quilt today!! His name will be Jaxon Bennett. Isn't that cute? We are all so excited! I really enjoy your videos, I learn so much, and I want to get myself one of those seam rippers!
I always sew first with 3mm stitch on the important match points. If it doesn’t match up, it’s easier to tear out. If it matches then I sew over with regular stitch
I have used the pink tape on the edge of items I am embroidery , but find it lifts up and I have to keep my embroidery foot from getting stuck. Does the paper surgical tape stay pretty stuck but come off easily if you stitch on it? Thanks for all you share on your channel Becky!

Beautiful. Would never have thought of black but it makes the design just pop! There's always one "match up" that you have to show who's the boss.
I appreciate all the little tips you give us. This is beautiful.
IT TURNED OUT REAL NICE! I LIKE THE WAY THE COLORS POP! IT IS SO YOU!😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤🙇🙇🙇🙇😍😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👍
Beautiful! I appreciate you letting us see the real life struggles of matching seams. I talk to the pieces that are not cooperating as well!!

I just purchased this machine! What size Dime Hoop are you using? Did you find the play book helpful to learn the machine?
Love it!

I apologize if I over looked it but what brand is your Taylor Clapper? It looks longer than some I've seen. Thanks so much. Deb
Glue when all else fails. Those seams will not slip when you sew them.
What kind of iron do you use?
What brand and type of thread do you use?
I have the old trimmer not metal.I fine when do the tiles I pin the most important part sew that. If good then move on either side.
Hmmmm. Did I miss Part 2?
