- Final night of the trip. Best night ever down here on the foxes. 27 shot in 9hrs on 900 acres.
Running the Infiray Rico RS75 1280 core on my Sako 223 and the Pulsar Helion2 Pro XP50.

27 foxes! Imagine how many native animals that lot would have killed over their lifetimes if you hadn't got them.
To be fair, if you consider the amount of invasive mice and rats in this country, especially in the proximity of fields and farms, I am pretty sure it won't be as many as you might think, since those are by far their dominant prey.
Regardless, they take their toll and Australian natives and young livestock.
So you justify this only because of what they hunt...? If you want to think about what humans do...
Hilarious 😂...
You capped that itchy fox and I said out loud, "scratch that" - & then you said, "scratch that." hahahaha. I wish you could teach me to do what you do but I'm an indentured servant to the state of California for at least the next few years. I just found your channel and will now commence to binge watching and Liking 👍🏻 every video. God Bless and keep up the good work.

Much appreciated Mikey, thanks mate. 👊
An outstanding effort Rod. The farm was absolutely infested with foxes. That Infiray is certainly an excellent bit of kit. Thanks for making the effort to produce another great video.
No worries mate. Thanks for watching
That scope is so good you can see the sole drift away in the breeze
Not quite but almost. 😎
385 metre kill shot sure took a steady pair of hands to execute . Love your channel and Nathan Stuart’s. Top shot 👍
Thanks heaps mate.
Appreciate it 👊
I looked that one up for Imperial units 385 m = a whopping 1,263.12 feet! A quarter of a mile.
@fgb3126 yeah, I was pretty chuffed 😀
If people hit the deck when you say GA DAY don't take it personally.😆 Brilliant exhibition of a true professional at work. Loved going along with you on that adventure. The high end optic just made it great viewing but we know you don't need it to get it done.
Maybe I should just say Hi in future. 🤣
Appreciate the positive feedback mate. 👊
That 385m shot is impressive!
Thanks mate
@@RJMHuntingAustralia Hi Rod, my max range was 345 meters using a Sauer 404 in .223 with Geco Express factory ammo and a Pulsar thermion XQ38 scope on top.
That's very impressive Bert. Especially using a 384 core thermal. 👌
@@RJMHuntingAustralia Thank you 🙏
This is a marathon effort and must assuredly qualify for a Guinness World Record! Fabulous video footage and excellent marksmanship. Can’t wait for more
Thanks Derek. Glad u enjoyed it mate 👍
Well Rod, I would have to say this is your best production to date.
A win for the viewer, a win for yourself ( they certainly look like Victorian foxes / scalp’s from my house ) and a huge win for the environment.
Love ya work.
Cheers
Much appreciated mate.
Vic foxes for sure 🤣
If you look closely @3:47 you can see his spirit walking away 😇
Ce que j'apprécie le plus dans vos tirs, c'est votre l'extreme précision .Bravo !..👍 Merci pour le partage !!! 👍
My translator isn't working but I assume Bravo means good. So thankyou. 👍

Thanks Damian. Was a great trip mate. 👌
27 foxes in one night! Fantastic effort!! :) Most we ever got was 12 and we had a lot of people banging the bushes and about 10 or so shooters!
Surprised me a bit too mate. Was a cracking night especially flying solo.
Nice shooting with the 223 hits them hard must be a big load keep em coming
Just a standard factory load mate. Does the job well. 👊
Awesome marksmanship and well done for the environment. Cheers
Thankyou buddy. 👊
Never tire of your vid’s Rod! Always entertaining 👍
Thanks Andy, glad you enjoyed it mate 👊
Great work Rod, whoa 27 foxes. You must be happy with that. I am certain the farmer will be pleased. I reckon you'll be back there soon.
Watching those foxes drop like tenpins is just brilliant.
Cheers mate. Already booked in for 2 more visits. 👍
@@RJMHuntingAustralia great, hopefully the fox tally will be similar. Look forward to parts 3 and 4.
I doubt they'll be as thick as that next visit but we'll see.
Way to go mate! Great to see you smashing the ferals! Love the footage!
Thanks 👍
Another awesome video Rod, your marksmanship is excellent, you gave Charlie a real bashing, well done.
Geoff. UK.
Thanks Geoff. No shortage of them lately 👌
You always say G’day, but never say G’bye!
Soooo windy...must be cold😮 🥶
Sure was mate. 🤦♂️

Appreciate that, thanks mate 👊
I’m RJM too. Nice video mate

thanks champion 👊
Watching thinking "scratch this" then Pew.." scratch that"😂😂👍perfect..
😅 hard to keep my comments to myself sometimes. 🤷♂️😁
Perfection at its best..😂
Thanks mate 👊
Love your office especially as the sun goes down.
Me too mate. The best part of my job by far. 👌
Absolutely awesome shooting and footage. Shows how great the .223 is at long distance with that last shot. Making me very keen to get started into using thermal in the future, I'll start with a monocular and red light on the scope. Been following more after listening to to your chat on AHP podcast from a year ago. Love ya work 👍
Thanks champion.
Love the 233.
Very underrated all-rounder.
Monocular are red light is a great way to start mate. 👌
Great shooting luv your channel buddy 👏🏾
I really appreciate that mate. Comments like this makes all the effort worthwhile. 👊👊👊
Thermal ROCKS !!!! Brilliant work !!!

My pleasure mate. 👊
Your the man Rod, another meticulous hunt, your one hell of a fastidious man ( couldn't help but notice how clean your cruiser bullbar was) man after my own heart. Great video, yet again
Thanks mate. Gotta take care of the work gear
Massive ! 28 foxes in 9 hours 😱well done, I think you did a record with it 🙏
Certainly was a very hectic night mate. 👌
Great work Rod dog well done 👍🏼

Awesome video Mate.. What a great life out in the Aussie country everyday.... Probley abit more interesting than my warehouse job in the city. Keep the vids rolling👍👍👍
Appreciate that mate. Thanks 👊
That’s a great property to find
Absolutely. No shortage of pigs on that place 👌
Thanks for thinning the heard mate. Very productive evening, now get some rest. Looking forward to the next vid.

This is so satisfying
Much appreciated mate 👍
Bloody awesome Rod!👌
Thanks champion 👊
Unbelievable! As usual great shooting!
Thanks mate. 👊
Great skills Rodney and a civilised feed too 😀
I try to eat reasonably well while I'm away. Doesn't always work out that way I'm afraid 😕 😅
Magic. Simply magic shooting! Wish I was there too!
Much appreciated mate. Thanks 👊
Supreme effort,Rod. Absolutely brilliant. 385 M Wow. That is brag material. "G'day" Priceless.😄
Thanks mate. I do love the G'day 👊
Great video. I think gee that is clear what sort of thermal.....$23K !!!.......at 6.48 you can actually see the soul of the fox float off so I guess its worth it.
Lol. Don't quite think it's that clear but yeah, pretty impressive image. 👌
And at 3.49!
The shadow you guys are seeing is dust from the projectile passing through the animal and hitting the ground
Yeah, still looks cool though!
Absolutely 👌
What a fantastic video very well presented
Cheers mate 👍
Another great effort. 👍
Cheers mate 👍
😊🙏
Wow what a night. Good stuff.
Thanks bud 👍
That was amazing, brilliant shooting and hopefully a huge dent in the feral fox population, Cheers.
Cheers mate.
Be back down there in a couple of weeks to clean up what's left.
BRAVO great shooting.
Appreciate it Craig. 👊
Epic video thats a crazy amount of foxes. I did have a good laugh at the one having a last min scratch before copping it 🤣
That one seems to be a bit of a crowd pleaser. 😅
Pretty impressive man!
Thanks champion 👊
Well done, mate. 👍 👏👏
Thanks Cathy, fox skins are pretty much worthless these days, plus I just don't have the time. 👍
Epic video, brother! Well done!😃
Glad u liked it. Thanks mate 👊
Most amazing fox shooting I've ever seen. Great work mate,
Thankyou 👊 👊
Good job Rod have a great week ahead.
Cheers Dennis. You too mate. 👍
Mate awesome clean up. I know what it's like to lose your chooks just before they're ready for processing. I had one get into the finishing night shed for my free range meat chickens back on my old property years back and just went on a killing frenzy just because it could. All up I lost 110 out of just under 800, was a big kick in the guts and put a big dent in the return. Cheers Rod👍🏽
That must have cost you a but mate. Not uncommon for a fox to kill every chook in the pen if they find a way in. 🤦♂️
Epic Hunt mate.
Sure was Len 👌
Mate clearly we have a fox problem in Australia, nice shooting you don’t miss much.
Big fox problem here mate and I do have the occasional miss buddy. 👌
I sure wish we would have had thermal or night vision scopes and spotters 50 or so years ago when I had free farm range to roam. It was all spot lights back then, but was just as much fun. Great shooting, and Cheers from Texas.
Yeah, technology has definitely come a long way in recent times for sure mate
Keep up the excellent work good job
Appreciate that mate 👍
nice work , what a great result 😎😎
Thanks buddy 👊
Mate, great job!!
Cheers Clint 👊
Awesome work.
Thanks mate. 👍
Awesome footage mate some wicked shots you made
Was a great night mate. Glad you enjoyed the video. 👊
Great night out & top shooting as always mate.
Thankyou Dave. 👊
Top job, that's gotta be a record 👏 👌 🦊💥
PB for that area mate.
Shot 33 one night off a pile of dead pigs out west a few years back.
@@RJMHuntingAustralia holy shit😳
I know right. Couldn't believe it. They just kept coming.
Great effort mate precision 👍
Thanks dude
It’s a shame you don’t get good money for the skins anymore, when I was about 15 we used to get up to $35 for good skins that’s back in the late 70s-80s but as you would know the greenies put a stop to all that, but mate you’d have a few dollars worth there but still the same good video well done.
Thanks mate. A good friend of mine bought his first car from fox skins back in the day. They used to call him stinky at school. 😅
Drop Bear approved Rod
Thx for sharing.
My pleasure. Thanks you for watching mate. 👊
Superb shooting Sir.
Thanks Chris 👊
Fantastic shooting Rodney. You are making William Tell seem like an amateur with your markmanship.
Thanks mate.
I spend a lot of time behind the rifle which helps Michael 👊
Wow your now the farmers best mate great shooting my friend 👍
Thanks Ian 👊
out standing ...... Great job
Cheers Terry 👊
Some cracking shooting there, the farmer will love you 💪
Pretty sure I'll be invited back 😉
385 not a bad shot mate, not bad at all.. I'm certain the chook farmer is stoked by the deceased foxes mate. Nicely done.
He was thrilled mate.
Love you video great shooting mate cheers
Thanks mate 👊
@ 3:49 you can see the Foxx's soul walk away to the left.
Looks that way but it was just dust flicked up by the projectile passing through and hitting the ground.
Nice shot.
Thanks 👊
Epic shot on that last fox. I recon he was facing away from you and you got him in the back of the head.
Thanks mate.
Not exactly sure where it hit him, no exit wound. Dead is dead I suppose.
nice shot😍😍
Thanks 👍
Epic night
Glad I got to capture it all on video. One of the best nights I've had on the foxes Simon 👌
Nice one Rod a cracking night, also i know what damage just one fox can do here on our moors so 27 i dread to think and nice shooting to pal.
Thanks buddy, the chickens are a magnet for foxes. I'd say it will be an ongoing control program
Verrrry nice long range shot that last one!👍🏼
Thanks 👊
@@RJMHuntingAustralia my personal best was a roo with a 22-250 on a bipod uphill at 330 yards. Smack bang centre back of the noggin.
That's impressive 👏
That's a hell of a night's work. That thermal is something else.
It's definitely a nice bit of gear Richard. 👌
@@RJMHuntingAustralia one I'll never afford unless I win the lotto.😔👍
You and me both Richard.
Nice shooting mate..
Thanks David 👍
Essence upload mate! That is some tally of foxes. Great to see them getting hammered!😎
Thanks Jim. Action packed night for sure.
Your videos are brilliant 👏👏👏
Thanks Geoff, glad you're enjoying them mate. 👊
@@RJMHuntingAustralia I wish we had that amount to go at in the UK. The only things we have in abundance here is rain and immigrants 😂
😯 I thought u guys had plenty of Charlie's
@@RJMHuntingAustralia Nothing like you have unfortunately
Shooting Rodney 👍🏻👍🏻
Cheers Dan 👌
Great long shot mate, By best 370yrds Pulsar Trail
Anything over a couple of hundred metres with thermal is excellent shooting mate. Well done. 👌
canna say that I enjoy seeing animals die,
but I am respectful of your operation and stunned by the efficiency of your equipment
staggered by the cost of that gear too
shows also how animals have more enhanced senses than humans, night vision, sense of smell
Carry on the good work Argggg!!
Thankyou Stu.
I know it's not for everyone but most people understand why I need to do what I do.
Appreciate the kind words mate 👍
Great night mate 👍
Thanks for that buddy 👊
