Nice one Rodney. I admire your professionalism in taking care of any that might not get to a "deep sleep" on the first attempt. Cheers mate & have a top one. 🍻👍
Beautifully done . You are a credit to our passion. I wish every hunter could project them selves as well as you do and we might just get a bit more credibility.
Looooved my .223. I sooo miss my rifles. I sold them all many many years ago before coming back to WA, (I had them in SA) I knew it was just going to be too hard to get the permits for them back in the 80's. I am too old now. 😆
came across this 9 months later. Great video indeed. My favorite part by far is when he yelled " Good day mate" and proceeded to just hole punch the predator. I was definitely taken back and had a good laugh still even while I'm writing this.
Maybe next calving season it mightn’t be a last minute call to arms. Always good to see introduced species being introduce to a lead injection. On ya mate 👍🏻
Looking for a night vision scope for a 22-250. Hoping to reduce the fox and feral cat population. What scope would you recomend. Shooting at 200m max distance.
Hi Rod, I’m not a hunter but do enjoy the pest control vids! Noticed you’re wearing Hunters Element clothing. What are your go to jackets when it’s the middle of winter?

surprised some of those calves can weigh 70 lbs, do not often see you use two rounds, which is understandable given the cost of ammo, ammo seems costly in gun crazy USA too tell me, you have kills at 150 and kills way out, do you need reset the sights or does your 223 shoot flat for 500, dunno much abt that yes never thought of foxes hanging around the birth, bastards you should skin em out and sell the hides
@@RJMHuntingAustralia sadly, we in the USA are still trying to convince state legislatures to let us clean up our feral cat problems. Some of them have been a little receptive, but the animal rights folks would rather a million native birds get eaten rather than see one feral, escaped kitty cat be harmed. But they seem to forget that here, we have natural predators who aren't concerned with quick, clean kills. It only takes one time hearing a cat scream as it gets ripped apart by a pack of coyotes to realize that's a horrible way to die. Maybe I should go out into the desert near my home and set up a hide, but with a microphone. Let them hear how savage nature is compared to a hunter.
Nice one mate, I've also had good luck with the 'g'day mate' stopper and also the 'oi dickhead' fox stopper both work very well.
G’day from Texas USA..
Nice work chap!
Thank you mate 👍
Nice work as always Rodney. Good to see you including the reality of the ones that don't immediately drop on the spot.
Thanks mate. I hate it when they don't go bang flop. But reality is, shit happens sometimes. 🤷♂️
@@RJMHuntingAustralia ну да. Как-то так.

Gday, I was most disappointed, with hearing alot of Oy, but all is forgiven on the last one Gday, excellent shooting Rod
Haha. Thanks mate. Always gotta save the best for last John 😂

As much as I love shooting them, I hate to see anything suffer. Much prefer bang flop but it does happen sometimes unfortunately
Safety First!
Thank you for taking me along.

My pleasure mate 👊
Bloody love the “Gday mate” BANG! Haha

Good work rod, great to see a couple of foxes on the ground mate and that sako looks slick as you like.

Good shooting and great result.
Thanks David. Always enjoyable knocking a few over. 👊
Excellent effort Rodney. That’s a lot of foxes on a small property.
Quite common around my area. High densities of foxes in these peri-urban areas. Makes for an enjoyable night out when there's a few around. 👌
@@RJMHuntingAustralia Good that you’re able to help thin the blighters out. Fox shooting is my favourite pastime.
I do a lot of fox shooting but I'm partial to smacking feral pigs. 👌

Yes. Happy shooter too 😉

Thanks mate. They calve all year round. Ongoing management is the key imo.
Good shooting RJM. Look forward to your next video.

Hi new subscriber here from the uk🇬🇧.
Great video i like how you keep the reality into your video.
Just want to know your ammo of choice and weight?
Thanks for the sub.
I'm running ADI World Class factory ammo with 55gr Sierra Blitz Kings mate
🤝👍👍👍! Good!!!
Good predator control. Enjoyed the video
Thankyou mate 👊
In other hunts?
how did you get a silense in australia becous you are doing contract work
I assume you're referring to the suppressor.
As a contract shooter you can apply for a prohibited weapons permit
Nice shootin Tex........
Thankyou mate. 👊
Nice
Great video. What light are you using as you were walking. It's beam has a great throw ? Thank you.
It was the Olight M3XS-UT Javelot Ron. It has since been superseded by the Javelot pro I believe mate
@@RJMHuntingAustralia Thank you for the info about the light.
Anytime mate 👍

Not with the pigs. They carry disease and we don't eat foxes. 🤦♂️
Is this near Adelaide
NSW mate
Any cats??
Not on this shoot buddy 😭
feed brings mice , good job

re watching !
Why don’t the foxes focus on the rabbits. I would figure they would be rich for the taking
Even though they're all pests, the foxes are priority on this property due to the diseases they spread and potelntial damage to livestock

The 223 shoots flat enough out to 200m.
Need to start holding over after that. 👌
great video, just wondering what you have sighted your 223 into? cheers
3/4" high at 100m Tyler
shame the foxes are bothering the cows and not cleaning up all the damned cats.
Fox v Cat. 🤔
Much prefer to shoot the feral cats 🐈

Hard to watch the predator kills in some of the nature shows. Long slow drawn out death.
As you said, much more ethical with a rifle.
Where’s Hollywood mate 🤣
Probably at home eating KFC mate.

Man I’d love to do this, love seeing these invasive species being eradicated from Australia
I doubt we'll ever eradicate them however managing numbers is a good start. 👊
@@RJMHuntingAustralia most definitely, better to thin them out rather than do nothing at all
Why is the scoope mounted 30 cm to far bak on the rifle? That bracket looks stupid..
You've obviously never used a thermal scope
Pests overun me and won't let ppl on as most only after trophy's..😡😡😡
You want me to come up mate.
Shoot the foxes and get lots of rodents !
That's not really how it works mate. Rodents are more seasonal and weather dependant
Dont shoot the foxes.. they dont bother anything
This is disgusting.
Sorry man I cant agree with this.
Foxes are an introduced pest in Australia. Might be something you should research before making comment. 🤦♂️
@RJM Hunting Australia I get it. But I don't think you should have fun making videos about you killing foxes
And I used to have mice that are also pests. Guess what, I got em all out of the house with no casualties.
But u also got pretty good shooting skills. :)
Have a good day.
Good job mate 👍🏼
