@@randied603 No its a tier 7 as it is from the same class as Gneisenau. Only difference in the game is that Gneisenau has 3 15 inch double turrets while Scharnhorst has 3 11 inch triple turrets
Masterful Battleship play. The patience to await the cruiser exiting the channel was great.
Good Battleship play follows a pretty set pattern. Snake forward, turn to fire then go bow forward to protect your citadel while you reload then turn slightly again to bring guns to bear then repeat. Once you get too forward from the rest of your fleet, hit the reverse and do the same thing backing up.

the shots at the beginning where damn loud and the first shot scared the life out of me
I had a match against other players and they had the Yamato on their team while I was the Bismark. At the end we were the last two ships left. No legit winner though. My team won by 2 points.

@@midnightshield160 you know that yamato was a all around superior ship, her guns are stronger, accurate and bigger. her armor was thicker so bismarks guns would have a hard time penetrating at range if they were point blank the bismark could deal damage but the yamato would deal more in response yamato also had surpior range so yamato is killing you before you can do anything about it.
Bismark had a range of 22 miles it also had a displacement of 41,700 and had a length of 823 feet it had 15inch gunsThe ships had an upper deck that was 50 mm (2 in) thick, and an armored deck that was between 100 to 120 mm (3.9 to 4.7 in) thick amidships, and tapered down to 60 mm (2.4 in) at the bow and 80 mm (3.1 in) at the stern.

Battleships were intended to fight the battle from afar, essentially sniping the foe, while destroyers would use torpedos to sink battleships, cruisers would just fight battleships and each other

its amazing how this ship only sunk after 11 Torpedo hits and 12+ 1000 pound bombs in real life. what a legend
And dont forget shot down 18 - 31 planes that is a quite good number to shoot down that much planes solo in a 100% expected suicide battle

Yeah... that moment when that cruiser gets rekt with a single broadside... Here's a lesson, kids: Don't go broadside-to-broadside with a battleship if: 1. You don't have anything better than a cruiser or a lesser battleship. 2. You don't have any torpedoes. 3. If you're piloting an aircraft carrier. 4. If you have a lick of sense.

Scout aircraft? report by scout destroyer? yamato can firr its gun when the target is over the horizon, but need scout aircraft to aim its gun since they have no visual on the target.

Well the watch stopped for me at 1:51. All turrets facing front and rear and to the right but they fired a broadside to the left and not only that he scored three hits. I don't think that the secondary's are that good either at that range. Spoiled it for me. Replay bug or not, it doesn't matter.
