    what is the purpose of resawing into tich thin boards? that are they to be used for? thanks

      @dixie03dixie Different customers want different things for different projects.
      Thin larch is suitable for steam bending and laminating. We supply a lot of rowing clubs with thin larch strips that are used to laminate a stem for their St. Ayles skiff.
      We also supply thin hardwood boards for lobster creel bottoms that are still used and very popular in East Lothian.

      thanks for your reply. that is neat that you guys were able to get involved in such a thing. i am taking over my fathers sawmill, and am always looking for ways to improve/expand! thanks again!

      If you are looking to get this resaw it's kind of worth getting and if you already have it's worth keeping.
      Baker A resaw is primarily designed for pallet companies but we use it for multiple different tasks like pointing fence posts or pegs or picketing the fence and resawing feather edge cladding or fencing (you can tilt the conveyor).
