Mr. Karpal Singh, a true Malaysian statesman, will always be remembered for his tireless dedication to Malaysia. Unfortunately, I missed the occasion this time as I was overseas. I vividly recall the overwhelming display of respect for him during his cremation, with flowers stretching over a quarter mile on the island. The sound of Satsriakal resonated from people of all backgrounds as his procession passed through the streets of Penang. I had the privilege of assisting him as a physiotherapist once. The first day in parliament after his injury was something that was of interest. He left my clinic BainsPhysio, and I anticipated the lack of wheelchair facilities at the parliament. I remember him expressing his deep frustration at the lack of wheelchair-friendly facilities in Parliament, boldly addressing the issue within its walls. His absence leaves a void in our ability to scrutinize and balance the political landscape.
Sewaktu PM dulu difitnah 1998 Mendiang Karppal Singh one of the lawyers perjuangkan kebebasan Datuk Seti Anwar tanpa dikenakan bayaran. Tulah hebat mendiang ini compare lawyer2 melayu yg ada ketika tu. Mendiang juga hebat berjuang dlm politik dlm DAP utk menegak keadilan kpd semua isu yg berlaku dlm this country. Jasa beliau mengkagumkan dan anak beliau now as Menteri Digitial sebelum ni Menteri Komunikasi. Hebat YB2 Menteri dari Parti Dap berkerjasama rapat dgn PMX. Move on
Our country needs a brave MP and honest politician like Mr Kapal. We all miss him.
