A relaxer is permanent. It permanently straightens your natural hait texture. Your natural hair texture will grow out at an average quarter of an inch every month so basically you would have to retouch the new growth to keep up that look.
Every 10 weeks. I use to do it for 12 weeks (3 months) but since i've been growing back out my hair i find it easier to stretch for 10 weeks to prevent breakage
