Yep, but we don't have 1 euro bill, we use a lot the coins and al lot of the coins have faces. In Spain the most common coins have faces on it.

Lots of old banknotes still. Australian old series disappeared after 2 years.
I collect and keep them. Thats why I have so many. You can't find the old banknotes in circulation anymore. Sorry for the late answer.

Old euro notes were more fashionable than new ones, except for new 5, 100 and 200 euro notes, which now are more colored than the olders

The one thing I don't like about the Euro notes is that the landmarks / buildings are fictional. None of them are real places. Totally manufactured. Although I think it's good that they don't have peoples faces plastered all over them.
They are fictional because no state should feel disadvantaged.
@@banknotesandcoins Yeah.. I understand why they've done it. I do feel it takes away from individual country's heritage which is often portrayed on banknotes as famous landmarks, natural scenery etc . I do feel it's a shame as there is so much rich history on mainland Europe. Just my view.

I guess it mostly used in things like companies & bulk or expensive item purchases. My uncle has a car dealership and most people that pay in cash for a car would use bigger bills like the 200 or 500 ones.
