can someone unplug the flash stick that is in the portable speaker and then ask him to really play the Dig without the recorded tracks on the flash. I am sick of these MIME acts in the streets conning people, I caught Aker Bilk once in the centre of Royston, but he looked like an Albanian doing the same thing with the USB Flash stick and a speaker. next time you see one of these con artists simply do a Bluetooth device search on your phone, their speaker will come up on your list.
Woah bruv, pump the brakes a bit. How about you start by asking if that was all him or if he was using some kind of USB backtrack. Not that I'm an expert (I'm just the guy who filmed him), but ask around as see if Quinto is the real deal. You might be surprised. But yes, he didn't play the drums while playing the didgeridoo if that's what you mean.
Ryan, I worked with Quinto in a didj shop in 1999 and have played the Djalu yidaki in the video. He played at this level even back then. He is a professional-level drummer and his skills as a drummer translate directly to his didj playing, his tight timing, technical proficiency and ability to hold a rhythm are utterly mind-blowing. In this video, he is playing over a track from an album he produced, created, arranged himself and has memorised intimately. (You can buy that album at Spirit Gallery in Sydney.)
I have busked with a hat and a didj on Circular Quay and trust me I sounded shit and was utterly lost in the hubbub of the city.
This is a professional street performance of a wildly talented musician playing over a track that he produced. Quinto has dedicated his life to mastering this instrument and is easily one of the best white contemporary-style players IN THE WORLD. IN THE WORLD mate. As a friend of his, I personally am shocked by you taking your Aker Bilk story and arrogantly trying to shit on this dedicated musician's outstanding achievement. I can only assume you made the comment one evening after a few beers in the spirit of "ah, I know something about busking....this one time..Blah Blah." and off you went indiscriminately sharting your opinions over the internet. Well no mate, in this case, you are wrong and owe Quinto an apology. You could join one of the didj groups on Facebook and hear him jamming at home with just a didj, but as I discovered, that is a shite way to try and put on a show in the middle of a city.

his playing to a drum beat track that he produced all the didjeridoo is live except for a couple of calls on the track, so you should actually be impressed instead of not understanding that some didjeridoo players are at a level that you cant comprehend also it is clear if you watch his face and throat that they co-inside with every didgeridoo sound that is being produced
