My childhood memories. I remember when it came out. Thought this game was the coolest game ever. Well, it is. Lol good times! Enjoyed every part of it.
This videogame IS half of my childhood...the other half being Super Mario Advance 4. OH, I STILL play it to this day. I can play it through in a matter of hours, and have probably beaten it more times than I could have remembered to count. Looking online, there doesn't seem to be much talk about it nor any fame for it, but I know it deserves more than the 16,000 hardcores its got right now. Classic genre-inventing video game.
Dude midnight club was my second game on my ps2 (2001 or 02) after virtual fighters 4. Like me and my friend or brother we loved playing this game ! It was so fun! Running over people And the racing music haha I kinda found the London Version weird tho. Oh.. I never owned Mario carts but I did play it haha
This game was great I remember skipping class at 12 to go play at my buddies place. But I had dreamcast after ps1 so I played MSR on Dreamcast and Tokyo Extreme Racer and NHL like a good Canadian boy when I got ps2 I went to Pacific Mall to get Initial D and Kaido Battle from overseas for my chipped system..oh the good ol days before youtube comments
let me tell you about something special.. Moving Shadow made a CD that was mixed by DJ Timecode, its call 01.1 this cd starts off very funky but its an illusion! the deeper you get the darker it become finishing with Dom & Roland - Imagination.. i cant recommend it enough, check it out
I thought the feeling of speed was really good in this game... how long the cars took to accelerate and how big the map was, especially New York was fun
Midnight Club was ahead of its time. It was just very basic. I think Rockstar was testing out stuff for Grand Theft Auto. I was impressed by the scope and detail of the cities.
I remember playing this & gta 3 before I even knew what dnb/jungle was.
What is dnb/jungle?
@@AttackerPictures genres of electronic music.
The New York songs are techno, while the London songs are drum and bass.
New York = Techno
LONDON = DRUM N BASS!
20:48 for some reason is very nostalgic for me

Dom & Roland is a legend
Surgeon and Dom & Roland did an incredible job making the soundtracks for this game
14:44 Dom & Roland end songs and 14:51 Beginning of Surgeon songs

Midnight Club 2 is just basically the same thing as this game but better in every way, so this game is pointless
The Freeman Initiative I kinda agree.
Best DNB and Best of Detroit Techno! No ever knew... I didn't know
12:59 & 14:05 🔥
I enjoyed your video. Great post.
10/29/18 I had to come listen to this to bring back memories of playing this game 💛
MIDNIGHT CLUB 🎶
2:58 Wanted to know the name of this song, if it has one, for as long as I can remember. So good.
Edit: Found it, it's Dom & Roland - Imagination
Song was always one of my favorites. Dom and Roland is a great DNB artist.
I wanted to know the one that starts at 6:02

This game sucked, MC2 and 3 were really good though, MCLA was bad.

MC1 n MC3
Bushrod Rust Johnson It really was
I'll agree with MCLA being bad, never played MC2 :(
mybrickhead I'll put it to ya this way. Los angeles was better to play in mc2 than it was in mcla despite the graphics difference.
