David From the few videos we have seen in Las Vegas it seems that you may need a lot more rehab to get better mobility, will the VA pay for that? 2 weeks rehab is nothing really. Rose is tired and probably cannot help much more, if you go back to the Philippines now, what will change for her? Rose, can't you get a carer for 3 or 4 days a week? Say from 9 to 4 to work on David's physio and medical issues? Quite the difficult situation. So sorry for you both. I too live with my husband who has many health issues, including a stroke, he also can be negative,, but I am much older than Rose and not Philippina but American/British and of course will stay the course. To Rose: I understand your pain coming from a 3 mild stroke and 11 TIA's guy that has gone thru that. Until he gets the mental help like I did whatever was going on will get worst. I know you want the best for David but David must want it for himself. David doesn't understand he may say he does, but he don't. Just a thing that you can deal with or you can't. You have to do what's best for you and your health. I don't know what kind of stroke he had, but it was serious. Rose imagine having dengue fever, the flu, headache, and someone holding your legs turning around in a circle. That's what a stroke feels like and no one that never had a stroke can tell you any differently. Like punch drunk. My 3rd mild stroke i said forget it i closed my eyes and fell asleep. No i am not trying to convince you either way, but the things he was doing in the Philippines is what got him like that. It will take a really really strong person to handle David. I am David's cousin in the USA 🇺🇸 First, we love you Rose. The problem is David was not a good person when he lived in the USA. I was the only relative who allowed him in my home. No one else would because he was messy and didn't respect boundaries. We all loved his wife from the DR but he treated her like crap and she too was a wonderful woman. David From the few videos we have seen in Las Vegas it seems that you may need a lot more rehab to get better mobility, will the VA pay for that? 2 weeks rehab is nothing really. Rose is tired and probably cannot help much more, if you go back to the Philippines now, what will change for her? Rose, can't you get a carer for 3 or 4 days a week? Say from 9 to 4 to work on David's physio and medical issues?
Quite the difficult situation. So sorry for you both. I too live with my husband who has many health issues, including a stroke, he also can be negative,, but I am much older than Rose and not Philippina but American/British and of course will stay the course.

To Rose: I understand your pain coming from a 3 mild stroke and 11 TIA's guy that has gone thru that. Until he gets the mental help like I did whatever was going on will get worst. I know you want the best for David but David must want it for himself. David doesn't understand he may say he does, but he don't. Just a thing that you can deal with or you can't. You have to do what's best for you and your health. I don't know what kind of stroke he had, but it was serious. Rose imagine having dengue fever, the flu, headache, and someone holding your legs turning around in a circle. That's what a stroke feels like and no one that never had a stroke can tell you any differently. Like punch drunk. My 3rd mild stroke i said forget it i closed my eyes and fell asleep. No i am not trying to convince you either way, but the things he was doing in the Philippines is what got him like that. It will take a really really strong person to handle David. He has let his problem gone so long i really don't think it will change. That's coming from a stroke survivor.

As a daughter caring for her elderly parents until they pass as well as a caregiver to elderly, disabled and dementia clients it takes alot of caring and compassion to understanding what they are dealing with especially health wise emotionally, physically and mentally. I am David's cousin in the USA 🇺🇸 First, we love you Rose. The problem is David was not a good person when he lived in the USA. I was the only relative who allowed him in my home. No one else would because he was messy and didn't respect boundaries. We all loved his wife from the DR but he treated her like crap and she too was a wonderful woman. Always working and cleaning up behind him. He doesn't even talk to his 3 children. I think he blocked them. It's ok to make mistakes but he has forgotten who was also there for him...his black family.
