hello! i was wondering if you could make a video on putting a fire place sideways on the ground if you knew how. I saw it on home tours to create a smoke effect and it was pretty cool
I want to double check something.... I have a ghosted bedroom door... i almost moved the house is attached to because i needed it for another door. Can you move that house??? Or will my ghosted door move to??
the door moves with whatever it's attached to. If it's attached to nothing, then it won't move. If it's attached to nothing, then the door would disappear.
@@coadredalert Ok! That's what i figured... but i was to scared to try it because it took me so long to do that door. LOL.... Thank you for responding.
Thank you ! Finally I did understand the trick with the three windows :D My brain hurts *g* I manage to do two windows at the moment. But the third one is still a mystery. Cause if I move the house where I put the second window, the window moves. So,do I have to do the third window with a third harvest-house and hallway ?
Hi, thank u for ur video :-D. That makes everything more understandable. I have one question (sorry for my bad English in advance). At minute 5:50 i try to do this and it doesn't work for me to deconnect the hallway to the harvest house at plot "sandbox". I tried it several times but all I do is to relocate the hallway but not to cut it from the house. hope u understand what I mean or maybe someone could try to explain it better than me. :-)
I don't understand. How or why is ghosting a wall on a medium room any different than ghosting a wall on a large room? Or any other room for that matter? Ghosting a room is the same regardless of the sizes of rooms you use.
@@coadredalert No matter how close I watch your video, I still can't get the "ghosting" to work and get the medium room back on my main plot with an open wall that I want. I've watched the video over a dozen times and wasted over 2 hours trying to figure it out. Following it exactly like you show and describe in the video doesn't work for me no matter how hard I try to get it to work.
i'd love to put the porch stairs on a room i've glitched to have no wall without the door attached to the porch showing up, cuz i'd love an open concept entrance to my house :')
Me too! The game is very limiting in ways that it shouldn't be limiting. If someone wants to just remove a wall from a room, just let them! There should just be an option for that! Until then, this is what I resort to.
Just one point to add. Make sure that all your landscapes are the same. This doesn't work if you are going between two different landscapes.
🤯my brain is hurting, I just want no wall in my already made room lol Thank you for the tutorial!
your videos make my plots look pretty, seriously thank you
Thank you for this! I love how well you explained it. I think I'll be able to use this method for something at some point haha

My IQ lvl can't cope with this 😅

You have to detached the window with the cutting tool.
@@coadredalert Oh sorry ... my fault :D This wasn´t enough coffee this morning I guess. I completly missunderstood the part with the "cuttingtool"
I'm on PC but I use an Xbox controller How would I do it with that
I'm assuming that for the plot-hopping building glitch, the plots both have to have the same skin?
Yes, that would be necessary. Otherwise, you get a loading screen.
@@coadredalert what if i still get a loading screen even though i put both to "wooded grove". did that ever happen to you?

If it's not connecting to the other houses socket, then it's not lined up properly.
@@coadredalert thank u so much, I'll try it again 😀
@@coadredalert i made it, tysm
It would be nice if the video went over how to get a specific wall on a medium room "ghosted" with this trick using a second medium room.

how to move the camera??

You can do that. Just make sure that the porch is not attached to anything. If it's not attached to anything, there is no door.
idk how,but mine just doesn’t work. I keep them all in default landscape. I used your way it just showed up another plot so quick, and never work.
The different plots all need to be on the same landscape type.
ugh, I want builds without glitches.
