This song hits hard because I have been suffering from depression and anxiety for the longest time and sometimes I do wonder if it’s better if I just leave this world but I have a lot of reasons to live for and a lot of people who love me. It’s just a temporary storm and I am greater than I think myself to be.

I love listening to Guy Sebastian. He has a voice that has that calming ballad quality, yet his lyrics always hit you in the feels.
I found this song at a time when I was feeling alone as I dealt with anxiety and C-PTSD. The song always brings me to tears as it reminds me that I may not be as alone as I feel.
This song has helped me through some tough times. Sometimes someone is so stuck in their rut that they dont register what your saying. They sometimes need you to sit there in the dark with you being the light.
One of my friends was really mentally affected by the isolation last year. And she started using a lot of drugs and you could just see that she was in a really bad place. This was the song I listened to on repeat with her on my mind.

People always say people love you. Sometimes you know that people love you and can feel that love. Sometimes you want that 1 special person to love you and the fact that they dont love you the way you want them to love you is what clouds the love from others. I can say with absolute confidence they do love you. They may not love you the way you want them to love you and it may look like they hate you but they do have love for you. Trust me when i say their love can be a key to being able to feel the love of others but there are other ways to find a key that fits that lock. Could be someone else, could be those that you know love you, could be your god (whomever that may be) it could even be you. But waitinf around to feel the love from that person so you can heal is waiting around for something that may never happen. Life is too short to wait around for that. If your so depressed that you want to end it all because they have not given you that love then you give up the chance to feel that love in the future if they show it to you.
