Basically, what would have happened had the Council actually *done* something when Mace Windu flat-out told them: "I sense a plot to destroy the Jedi. The Dark Side of the Force surrounds the Chancellor." You know, simple stuff like maybe extracting the younglings and padawans from Coruscant and sending them someplace obscure? Maybe establish a plan to regroup in the event that the Temple were to fall?
What's amazing is that they were at *WAR,* Coruscant had already been attacked, and so you would expect the Jedi to have contingency plans for a scenario where the Republic was no longer their protection.
Mace was extremely dogmatic. He sensed a plot to destroy the Jedi but wasn't convinced it would succeed. He was absolutely headstrong that he could defeat this Darth Sidious in both strategy and 1 on 1 combat, and frankly he was right: He was one swing away from saving the Republic and the Jedi. Unfortunately while he could in fact defeat the Sith he couldn't save Anakin, and saving Anakin was the key to fulfilling the prophecy and bringing balance to the force.
@@WestAirAviation - Give Anakin a task to keep him busy and distracted. Ideally something that would get him off Coruscant. "If you're correct, then we cannot trust even military communications. Go to Kashyyyk as fast as you can and tell everything to Master Yoda."
Then, while Anakin (famously clueless) runs an errand, Windu goes and carves up Palpatine. "Never mind. Come on back. We took care of the Chancellor."
Meanwhile, Padme...."Hey Ani, I went to see the obstetrician and they said everything looks fine. If necessary, they can always do the surgery if natural childbirth looks risky. It's not like we don't live in a galaxy where medical science is advanced enough to scoop out General Grievous's brain and guts to stick in a cyborg chassis after all."
@@daniels7907 As amazing as that would be, I think Palpatine would still mind-speak to Anakin as his ship is in hyperspace, and Anakin would turn around at the same point he did in the canon story. He'd probably arrive sooner if he were in a ship at that point instead of the Council chamber. 😥

What if Count Dooku never joined the Sith but still left the Jedi Order with Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, Sifo-Dyas, Plo-Koon, Anakin, & Ahsoka, & still made the CIS?
Then they would have swept the republic in moments. Their army is so much bigger than the clones it’s insane

Probably the best "What if Order 66 video" I've seen on UA-cam. I like that this video didn't overly focus on Anakin, and actually made the Jedi look competent.
Anakin's decision ultimately didn't matter in the long run since the Jedi were already prepared.

I think Dooku would be likely to enter negotiations after the proof of Sidious being a Sith and so corrupt, it would bolster his arguments.

What if; Anakin never gave into his feelings for Padme (Pentre Patrol did his version), Aayla Secura was the chosen one and became Darth Talon, Shme Skywalker was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett saved his Tusken family, Count Dooku was a regular count for the CIS, Jabba the Hutt supported the Jedi at the Start of the Clone Wars, and finally, what if Sabine and Ezra fell in love?
What if Padme survived Child Birth?
What if Palpatine told the senate he was Sidious when he was elected (not illegal by the time of the prequels)?
What if Padme didn’t trade Anakin for grievous when they were both captured on naboo
What if Anakin used force lightning in various moments throughout the clone wars?
What if Palpatine sensed vadar’s betrayal in return of the Jedi?
What if Gungi stayed with the bad batch?
What if Caleb joined the bad batch when his master died?
What if Caleb survived the fire on Lothal?
What if Ahsoka got to coruscant with maul before Mace windu left for the chancellors office?
What if Ezra found luke instead of obi wan on Tatooine?
What if Illum gave Anakin a red kyber crystal?
This was amazing. I’ve been a fan of your videos for a while and it’s always fun to see your interesting SW what if’s. It was also fun to see the Jedi Order being prepared for Order 66 getting shown some love. This is definitely an interesting scenario and it should definitely get shown some more love. Also this is one of the scenarios where I think if they got the info from Fives and took it more seriously, they could’ve survived the Jedi purge. Great job as always and I can’t wait to see what you do next.
I do have a few ideas for some possible what if’s:
1) What if Rey was a Mandalorian…essentially what if Din Djarin found Rey and took her in as a Foundling.
2) What if Ezra was a Mandalorian…something like how both his parents were Mandalorians who left Mandalore and went to start their own lives (you could still keep most of Ezra’s backstory) and potentially make Ezra and Sabine a couple (since Disney won’t, we have too…#ezrabine4ever.
3) What if Jango Fett and/or Boba Fett Joined the Republic…I think something interesting could happen with this.
4) What if Rey, Finn and Poe went back in time to the Clone Wars…this would make the World Between Worlds even more of an important focal point and I could also see them get along well with Anakin, Ashoka, Rex and the rest of the 501st (it would be fun to see Rey, Finn and Poe join the 501st)
I hope these are some amazing ideas for some potential What if’s
What if Palpatine WAS NOT a Sith Lord (a regular non-Force user) What if a Sith WAS manipulating him via BLACKMAIL (in the OT Palpatine kills his family via The Force but in this Alternate timeline he kills them via conventional means. He manages to cover it up BUT a Sith has discovered it and is using it to Blackmail Palpatine)

What if thrawn joined the separatists?
What if Revan wasn't found in stasis until the first year of the clone wars? That would mean that Revan in his prime would be alive and well, and Darth Vitiate's spirit would still be dormant since Revan didn't awake his spirit at Yavin.

I see three problems with this alternate reality.
1. Imprisoning Sidious? Let's just say Windu was right. Off with his head!
2. Anakin the eternal padawanker becoming a master? LOL He has a LOOOOOOOOOOOT of growing up to do, that ragebaby has the emotional maturity of... well, a toddler.
3. Asohka rejoining and becoming a Knight? I don't think so. Barely anything has changed, the Order is still rigid, full of hubris and glacial if ever in change.
What if Royce Hemlock survived and continued his experiments on Mount Tantiss with the clones, the Force sensitive children and the Zillo beast?
What if anakin spirit in the world between worlds saved padme by making her a force ghost or new mother if the ones. She could make him help ben solo and others saying you got to help people who are suffering from your past actions.
What if anakin was piloting before attack of the clones and sensed ventress fall to the darkside as her master died and took his ship to the planet to investigate. Perhaps starting a romance as they are very similar in their stories.
Also what if ahsoka taught ben skywalker as she saw him as history repeating itself.
What if anakin was a jedi watchmen or wayfinder.
What if anakin went with kenobi to face maul and savage instead of adi gallia.
What if anakin fell in love with luminara or your own version of aayla secura romance.
What if oppo rancis trained anakin.
What if anakin met and fell in love with ventress just before the clone wars just after her masters death.
What if anakin became a jedi sentinel like a watchmen or one of those who find younglings.
What if evan piel became a mentor or second master to anakin.
Or anakin became a healer either before or after his mother death could be related to his friendship with offee or alternatively what if he was trained by tra sa who taught windu and actually did not forbid attachment as shown by her relationship with tholme , they could become like a pseudo parents to anakin and train him away from the temple in azati martial arts and from trasa the living force as she is a plant lady so imagine anakin controlling plant life.
In this case Anaking does not fulfill the prophecy
My only issue with this story is that the CIS had a massive army waiting in the background; without Sidious playing both sides, Dooku would've used it and beat the Republic...

What if Darth Andeddu holocron Heresies was activated unknowingly by Dooku and the spirit seemed out a new apprentice finding it in the form of a turmoil filled Anakin after his mother’s death secretly training Anakin in his dreams, slowly over the course of the clone wars.
Anakin starts to recognize that Palpatine was manipulating him so in return he plots to kill him, also side effect of Darth Andeddu’s influence would be Anakin training Ahsoka in the Dark side in spurts of their training?

And today we have a variant of it called what if the jedi council repaired for order 66 where it failed due to order 67 being activated instead screwing up the whole plan
My idea: what if order 66 got corrupted is also a variant
This variant would have it failed due to corruption of the recording of the the video saying the execute order 66 message due to the Jedi editing the video with a voice who resembling the voice of a Jedi (You choose which Jedi the voice resembles) and due to that would be impossible to recover

me thinking if Taron Malicos still turned to the dark side, and ani getting banished from the order for marrying and having children with padme. turning to the darkside and taking leia and seeking out the "brother" the dark side if the force incarnate to learn from. while luke is raised in the temple. because Ani still has to bring balance to the force

What if Palpatine lost, but the CIS won the war?
That’s impossible since without their prime leader Dooku would eventually be killed and the Separatists would probably surrender.
@@joeychung2210 the separatists were actually sabotaged several times by Palpatine to keep the war balanced, so if Palpatine were removed, the separatists would still have a pretty good chance of winning (and besides, the separatists wouldn't be the only one to lose a faction leader lol)

Wait. The Jedi had a sound emiter that could get rid of the chips and they didn't use it idk Everytime clones came in and out of the temple.... So pretty much who who didn't react fast enough died for no reason.
But Yoda was aware of Order 66 and did nothing about it. That's why I think his age played a major part in his Order's downfall. It made him far too complacent to try to stop what he knew was coming.

Skywalker wouldn’t know most of the information as it would be known for council members also the council wouldn’t trust anakin as they would know of the connection .
2nd of all Palpatine is smart enough to know if the Jedi knew they probally have created a defence strategy, he would have probally called dooku and grievous to courscant .
3rd of all maul would be the dark Lord of the sith not dooku
4.) Anakin wouldn’t kill dooku as he would not be championed and manipulated by sidious and he wouldn’t be strong enough
5th of all the droid army would decimate the GAR if palpatine had no power , they were purposely made weaken for the republic to fight and even republic were still struggling
And that's how to destroy Star Wars before the original trilogy ever happened. But look on the bright side, Disney wouldn't get to do it.
