I was a closeted closed fader kind of guy. Thank you for giving me the courage to be myself...

fader closed is cool, it will eventually lead to 3 click delays, but for flow learning it open will help, dope tutorial, I think he left off the front end which may confuse beginners, since he started open and only gave 2 clicks on back spin, it appears like its a forward baby with 2 clicks back if your a lil unfamiliar with the process, but you can tell in the sound..I demoed these along with a chirp 2 click delay myself..its great to learn and share with aspiring talent

I start with a closed fader too. It's less risky. I'm just a coward I guess. Anyway this actually helps, I appreciate it.

Nobody in any of the tutorials ever mention that the record your scratching has to have the volume knob louder than the record playing in the background. Guess I’m here to spoil the Dj magic trick. You guys are all welcome.

Obviously reading thee other comments first...
This closed fader (DJ Saint ORBIT) sounds cool, but I believe at thee end if this video, he should have really shown how it sounds faster....
You know: Slow, Medium and Faster speeds, so WE ALL can say:
    "....Yeah, Almost or NOPE..."
and from what I seen in other videos...
This is NOT a CORRECT SOUNDING 2 Click Flare Orbit...It's his version.
Much Love and Keep Practicing Guys

I think what people need to understand is he says "delayed 2 click flare" (DJ Saint Like) which means it's a variation that he does. There is no "correct" way to scratch even though there is a certain scratch sound that is considered a delayed 2 click flare! Learning different variations of scratches is what makes you sound unique compared to other djs that just youtube'd a delayed 2 click flare and learned that one textbook scratch.

This is not a deleyed flare, and when you perform your orbit, it doesn't sound good to me, the Only way to make a proper flare is to start with the fader open and end open. Check out my Chanel for tutorials.
