Tried this is the department store earlier, just out of curiosity. You are definitely right, very different from L'eau d'Issey. I was very surprised, but mostly very intrigued by the smell of it, which I believe would lead me to order it online! Great review, very meticulous!

I am extremely pleased with this scent, and very glad I bought it, but at least to me, I don't think it smells all that similar to Marc Jacobs. The closest I've found to that scent is Phylosikos by Diptyque. Overall however, I love Fusion and will be getting lots of wear from it. I also feel the longevity is better than expected - I sprayed 2 sprays before bed and can still smell it (faintly) over 11 hours later.

I over heard a fragrance counter clerk answer a question to another customer about the difference between EDT, EDP, Parfum etc. She basically said it’s more oils. While correct, it just had me smh. From Steven, Justin Copeland, Gents Scents, & Chaos fragrances combined with fragrantica, I feel like I know more than the person I’m buying it from
There's nothing quite like sitting back, sipping on a Belgium beer....and watching another one of your reviews! If you want to smell what raw ambroxan smells like on it own (diluted in alcohol), hit me up and ill send you a couple samples! People will be amazed what it really smells like on its own when not congested with other notes
Philosykos is more of a FIG scent or it's definitely the main note accord so maybe you're thinking of another fragrance. I know there's no coconut note in Philosykos either. I will say definitely get the EDP with Philosykos though, much better scent profile IMHO. Hope this helps!
With l’Eau d’Issey and Nuit d’Issey it almost sounds like they’re going with an in between with the name. The notes don’t necessarily sound like that though.

I usually try my best to not watch your videos because I do believe that you tend to stray off point alot and drag on for longer than needed making these reviews longer than needed. I'm not trying to offend or insult but I try to stay away from you reviews because I usually walk away feeling like I didn't learn anything because your point is never concise it is never a lineal journey from point A to B there's like 20 tangents in between and I fall off not getting the message I really did come for.
I have this. It’s an interesting fragrance as it definitely has its own identity in notes. It’s fresh and citrusy, but it’s also very, VERY synthetic smelling. That’s a big turnoff for me.
@@Redolessence Smells like a orangey slight spicey sandalwood type thing to me. I really liked it yesterday I was surprised it was as good as it was. I got another one that i bought from NEXT which has a very similar orangey smell too. When I used it everyone around me where ever I went noticed the smell. Very unique and catches people out. I feel like these have that same sharpness of sauvage where people notice but the orangey notes make it nicer to me.

I do the original in the spring/summer and Pulse Of The Night for fall/winter. Pulse is one of his best imo.
