The cottage is starting to look lovely, I love the natural and wild Christmas decorations - beautiful and free - I just forget everything else when I'm flower arranging!! Hope the cold is gone soon! x

I love the idea of the wild winter mantle in the dining room to really bring the idea to life maybe adding some more foliage/garland in the center might be a good idea, so there isn’t such a stark difference between the height of the twigs and the meat of the garland in the center

I had a fireplace without a fire like in your dining room and I put a grate in it and put different sized candles in it to look like a fire substitute!!! Just a suggestion juxxx
That is a really nice idea!! We were contemplating getting a log burner but I don't think it's really necessary to have it so I love that!

Hi, your home looks so festive. You are very artistic. Could I ask where you bought your dining room Christmas tree lights? They are exactly what I have been looking for. I have a real tree sitting in a bucket outside at the moment. I at a wreath making workshop on Wednesday.
Hi Vivienne! Oooh a wreath making workshop sound so fun, enjoy! We picked them up from Burford Garden Co last year and I can confirm I saw them in there yesterday so they still stock them! 🤎

Hi Rach! Of course, we just got one strip of lights and it was more than enough for our tree (which is 8ft) if you wanted maximum effect I think two strips would be amazing. They are such an nice alternative with the cluster effect. Hope that helps! 🤎
