"Carcosa" is a city in the setting created by Robert Chambers. The city is linked to the Great Old One, Hastur, also known as the King in Yellow, because Lovecraft was influenced by Chambers' works. Chambers himself was influenced by Ambrose Bierce, the person who first wrote about it. The original iteration of the city is only ever talked about in hindsight- after its destruction. I find it very... thought-provoking that a being named after the King in Yellow's city is fighting a yellow king of his own little world.
Also consider the factor that the King in Yellow is also know as the corpse of God, and you have a one to one parallel with Carcosa being a ruined afterlife like Brutal Orchestra's Afterlife

Along the shore, the cloud waves break, The twin suns sink behind the lake, The shadows lengthen In Carcosa. Strange is the night where black stars rise, And strange moons circle through the skies But stranger still is Lost Carcosa. Songs that the Hyades shall sing, Where flap the tatters of the King, Must die unheard in Dim Carcosa. The beginning drums me remind of the "the big girl has cometh" from LISA. I know there was some inspiration from there in the base game, but since this is a mod I wonder if that was coincidental.
Funnily enough some of my other tracks are VERY inspired by LISA (the mimic and gizo themes come to mind), but this is one of the ones that isn't lol. But honestly? It's a really fitting comparison
@@bionic_dog3976 Honestly the ungod in our area of purgatory is a prick i would be amazed if i saw that either way the ants will probably leave eventually
@@bionic_dog3976 I think someone told me that in the lore the Ungod's "music" is just her species' way of communicating, not even meant to be music. so I'd imagine for her it would be like a bunch of ants either yelling gibberish or just plain screaming.

The most beautiful orchestra I’ve ever heard in my life. And yet, the Ungod treats this like an annoying neighbour’s party.
How would you feel if all your worshippers played music all the damn time? Genuinely could go either way but that's the basic gist.
He was right. We _aren't_ worthy of hearing this. No one is. It's glorious.
Even as twisted his dream became, he still achieved it, in the spite of death and insanity.
*"From break and ruin, the most beautiful performance begins."*
Don't forget he isn't even a final boss you still have to get torn to shreds by Osman :)
Nah, I'd win
I actually died to a random enemy encounter instead of going to osman, because I'm just that good

This song sounds like/makes me think of Percussion of the Masses;
Something elegant & beautiful that plays over a God-like & powerful Being.
Holy Song God-Like SONG!
This mod is going right in to my recommendo crescendo
This fight was AMAZING
and the music elevated the experience
thank you Millie

Are there lyrics to this song? I feel like I can hear faint words in the background but I can’t make out what they’re saying
If you're talking about what I'm thinking of, they should be in the description (you should always check the description for lyrics).
They’re in the description.
