I had ongoing issues taking my 21’ RDX to service for over a year for this exact issue. they thought it was the sunroof drain hoses. but cleaning it out multiple times didnt help. last September they replaced the Pano frame kits. I started having leaks again in this May. finally they deemed that my seals on the roof and seal on the glass were bad. which shouldve been replaced along with the frame kit. but nooo, smh. so they replaced that and put a whole new glass too w new seals. hopefully its fixed this time.
@@acuramastertech7959 I recently had an issue on my '21 RDX. We had a very strong rain storm where the horn just started honking on its own while it was parked & locked. I was not even driving. It would not shut off and I had to disconnect the battery. I had it towed to the dealer. They stated that the driver side sunroof drain was clogged, backed the water up thru the A-pillar, and wound up with water on the BCM. They replaced the BCM under warranty and it was totally covered. I am just confused by the entire situation because I could not locate 1 drop of water in the interior. I would think the water would have been on the mat or carpeting if he reached the BCM.

nice video, what other drains should we be checking are clear?
Those 2 are the recommended for your Rdx

This is a common problem for any car with a sunroof. Not just Acura RDX. Keep car in garage or run through car wash weekly.
How does this happen? Are some cars Defective from the factory?
Debris collection on the roof
@acuramastertech7959 wow that's very interesting. Some bad engineering I guess
@@paulrakisthis happens with pretty much all cars with a sunroof eventually if parked outside under trees.
@@gordonschiff3621 ok 👍 thanks for the info on that.
It's pretty much every vehicle equipped with panoramic roof. You need to clean them regularly after three years
Is the BCM located on the drivers side under that windshield wiper cover?
The Body control module is in top of the fuse box on the left side under the drivers dashboard
