I made one about 10 years ago and it gets a lot of use. Yours is a little more elaborate than mine and I urge everyone to follow your design. I left the guard out , out of laziness. Nice design I will definitely use it when it comes time to replace mine.
Useful video and slick design of the jointer. I have a similar Bosch plainer and I am planning to use your video, but for the side/wall limit I will use the accessory plank that comes with the plainer...Which makes things complicated, bc I cant use the holes of the plainer for its fixing (whihc you use).
Muito bom seu trabalho foi uma ótima apresentação e muito boa à demonstração obrigado VALEU mesmo de verdade ficou show é uma ótima ferramenta muito útil obrigado VALEU mesmo
Very interesting. I just would like to understand if the thickness of the cut is fixed or not. The two panel (the one on the back and the one in the front) should stay at the same level?
@atnfn I did that repeatedly on a lapping plate (basically sandpaper mounted to perfectly flat glass.) The issue isn't imperfections ,like say the back of a chisel. It's the warped plate itself. Bosch cast aluminum is horrible. From their router table (1181 series) , and their router table insert plate, to their circular/jigsaw shoe plates, everything they seem to cast in aluminum is always warped. I've brought it up to Bosch Tools NA on several occasions, but it just gets acknowledged, and nothing is ever done. So while I love so much about the Bosch PL2632, a warped show plate renders the tool to be far from functional if needing precision.
Most hand planers have a moveable base. When you adjust the plane depth the front or backhalf of the base lowers or lifts.! Not all hand planers are Bosch makes.
@gwordscience9465 Suggestion : accept complaints "real ones" from others... More... if...(a big "IF")... you're a true DIY amateur, you will enjoy and want listening to the tools sound, instead of that crap background !
this is actually genius, well done! can't wait to do this for my small shop

КРАСАВЧИК !!! 👍👍👍🤘🤘🤘🤗🤗🤗
SUPERIOR !!! 💥💥💥
How do you keep the planer running without pulling the trigger? They normally have a safety and a trigger… no lock on switch.
Отлично и самое главное просто как, 2 пальца об асфальт!!!
Hi I like the product can you make one for some one
How are you keeping the planer trigger on? A clamp?
Broo nice work.. But please change and don't use that music sound.. it's so bad that i better listen on my wife talking....😊
You need to make push sticks
Can I please get the measurements bolts as well. Thank you
1:59 Did he just slide a bolt straight through the planer?
Have any plans
Use push sticks!!!
Great design though!!
Ill take one,, when can you have it shipped! :)
👏👏👏
Amazing. Do you have a plan
ო
How did you find a Bosch planer with a flat base?
I saw someone else use sandpaper to flatten the bottom of the planer. Maybe he did something similar.

So what are you saying? I'm a beginner just trying to understand.

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😍😍😍😁
Thanks, i have ear AIDS now.
Please be careful how to guide the wood over the jointer. This doesnt look healthy!
Had to switch this video off, the background music is torture. Ruins the video I’m afraid
Suggestion: Mute it and listen to something else in the background

I blamed the music too, not the lack of “how to” part
😂
Thumb down for the music
Bro nobody is forcing you to watch the video. Just keep scrolling, simple as that
I cringed watching you run the board through without a push stick.....
