I have been traveling a lot lately and it's making my feet swell.
Going barefoot, taking a lot of breaks during long distance travel and walking when I am not actually traveling have helped reduce the swellings.
What do you do to avoid or reduce swollen feet when traveling?
Please consider walking barefoot for the amazing benefits such as a foot massage while enjoying nature. Feel every step guys!
Reasons to walk in nature bare foot
1. Feel every step and connect deeply
2. Relieve pain in your feet, back, hips and eventually all over your body
3. Improve your posture and vision
4. Feel the different ground temperatures and increase your enjoyment
5. Improve your mood!

A foot massage may be in order with your feet elevated and relaxing music to help you enjoy the experience.
@solewisdom7156 absolutely
How beautiful you look dressed in a short-sleeved t-shirt and long jeans and barefoot, darling... Cute, charming ❤❤❤
@vicumare66 thank you!
I had similar issues during a 12-day trip to Nepal and India that I made entirely barefoot. The point was the long haul flights, and I didn't drink enough, so the liquids were out of balance. But most importantly, I didn't get upset or worried. That helped a lot.
@michaelsteinrotter2016 Thanks for sharing 🙂. Very good observation about how not being upset helping a lot. Great.

Thank you Fukata 😊 I am responding to your email. You should hear from me soon.
@barefoothomestead Yes big black cracks BBF. Lets 24/7 enjoy direct step on any surface !!
I had this also once when I was travelling. I am not a physicist, but my guess from my personal experience is, that your feet are rather inactive during this time, but always by far the deepest point of the body, when sitting "as usual" (in European / Western view). If possible (i.e. if there is enough space), I suggest sitting cross-legged, at least every now and then; this will reduce the distance between your heart and your feet. Or try actively doing something with your feet to activate as much muscles in your feet as possible now and then. E.g. play with your own toes, stretch your feet and toes, or try one foot playing with or giving a massage to the the other foot (and vice versa), as far as the limited space will allow you. 🙂
Thanks for sharing this idea; it may work. I also sometimes sit cross-legged for a while during travel.
I tried going barefoot just this past week on my beach vacation and experienced no swelling but some surfaces made my feet hurt like heck! How do believe that the stairs helped with the swelling?
@coylee2742 I believe so. Every time I would stop, walk and climb those stairs, the pressure in my feet would reduce tremendously
Hope your feet are feeling better ❤
@Zzsmuf They're completely back to normal now

I sometimes experience swollen feet when I use chemicals in the factory or on the farm... but after a few hours, the swelling goes away on its own......
@mikebarefooter2036 Interesting! I'm glad it goes away quickly, and you don't feel any other immediate ill effects from contact with the chemicals?
@@barefoothomestead It depends on the substances I use... sometimes they turn red or when I use the pickling gel for stainless steel, I feel a burning sensation... it's the same feeling as walking on burning coals more or less 👣🧪
