    Hardcode subtitles - veed.video/47QtIhT
Adding subtitles to videos is very popular when it comes to social media content. However, a lot of social media platforms don't have the option to upload SRT files. So this is where hard coding subtitles come in useful.
    Good luck!

    Try VEED - veed.video/47QtIhT
VEED is a simple online video editing platform, perfect for creating brand content online. You can use VEED to crop, trim, filter, add music to videos, add subtitles, automatically generate subtitles, turn podcasts into videos, and much more.

Information for everyone: this is not hardcoding subtitles, but merely just implementing them to the file. The subtitles can still be disabled, and don't show on any video editing programs etc.

I think this is hardcoding. I show how to hardcode the subtitles into the video at the end, they are baked into the mp4 file. They can't be disabled after that. No?

OMG! Thanks so much for this! I spent way too much time doing this process over and over again using tips from a couple websites that were giving me the steps without the magic key at the end...close the program by going to the Options tab and closing out rather than just X-ing out! I felt like I was going crazy b/c it wasn't working and was about to give up, so, TY, TY, TY!

This works best! 02_05_22 To date. Some videos on this subject give old, and outdated means to burning in, and hard coding sub titles into videos. Thanks for the freshest, and most direct method for making videos with overlay sub titles. Very helpful! There is a minor snag sometimes with the codec you use so might have to match those up depending on file format being either 720 or 1080 or 4K. Need to use Handbrake to encode sometimes to format video size that will match up.
