Considering Nintendo games stopped having the Nintendo logo show up before the title screen of their games since the Wii era, I doubt it. It’s why Dream Team and Paper Jam didn’t have it.

His Mario is almost there, but his Luigi is genuinely perfect.

@@SpookyDollhouse It's really hard to translate 2D art styles to 3D, takes a lot of trickery with texturing and model topology. The M&L art style is very loose and cartoony, even compared to regular Mario, so it's actually quite impressive that they managed to pull it off so well.
It's not just the aesthetic itself, it's also how the characters are animated. In 3D, you can't just draw a character's shape changing when they do cartoony stuff, you need special skeletons with stretchy bones for animations, model part swaps for whenever a part of a character changes drastically, and perspective tricks. Good cel shading also requires normal editing, and the m&L art style uses gradients, so yeah, plenty of ways it could've gone wrong.

Oh my oh my! Kevin Afghani really did step up his game since super mario bros wonder. His Mario voice is now actually really good !! And his Luigi voice always was great IMO so yeah I'm so glad the bros voices are back also the games looks like it's gonna be a banger !

Looks like they the shell kicks different! Mario's Red Shell does high damage to a single target, but doesn't hit anyone before the final attack, but Luigi's Green Shell hits multiple targets.
And each are call backs on the old Bros. Attacks, too! Mario's is from Bowser's Inside Story, and Luigi's is from Dream Team
yeah that's typically the case with these games. Luigi generally learns really strong AoE attacks and has a tanky stat spread, while Mario is more of a glass cannon crit machine who can attack single targets very hard.

No Level Up roulette is definitely a blow, but other than that, GOD I’M SO EXCITED
Honestly, I kinda like how they're handling this, it allows a bit more variety in your character builds. There's also less RNG, so you can customize the bros to your exact preference. I dig it!
Level up roulette is fun but it is annoying when you miss the best value

The bonus roulette was never rng, you could always time it. In all honesty it was really _annoying_ to time and you just got 1's and 2's all the time but... you definitely could.

They nuked it in paper jam iirc but then brought it back for the remakes

Carrying an entmophobic singer through a forest full of bugs to get hair wax, which you use to cheer up a sea slug lookin DJ with fabulous hair, so that he performs together with the singer, in order to make a sapling grow, which you can use as a ladder - My goodness, I've missed this insanity.

I think it has to do with people generally not liking the color yellow
The only complaint i have with the graphics rn is the instant camera snapping when enemies do their attacks in battle, but other than that this looks great!
