I build the hunters hut way out on the outside crater wall. It doesn't need heat. Beacon as well

I always thought hunter house can be build far from heat to spare the rest of heating area for other things
Yes they can be but the employees can still get sick/die from the cold during storms 🥶 unless you remember to remove them all before the storm hits! thanks for the comment 👍

A perfect beginning doesn't see you waste much of your first day without a Workshop busy researching tech (most likely the Beacon), especially as that is the perfect use for your free (no death) Emergency Shift (which you activate after the normal shift ends at 18:00). Also, having 25 idle workers until past 1pm is far from optimal; every warm body (aside from Children, unless you started with Child Labor, you heel) should be either building or gathering at all times, at least until you build the aforementioned Workshop. ='[.]'=

Plus, building the Hunters' Huts near the center is an absolute waste of space.
@@Zett76 not really you have way more space than you’ll ever need on a full playthrough so location doesn’t really matter. But then I never extended the range of the generator

Does it matter if you put the sawmill in the trees or not or do you have to always put it beside the trees?
If you put in the trees it will tell you it will destroy resources so I always just get it as close as possible to the trees. Thanks for the comment

Unfortunately that is not a game that I have in my collection at the moment! Thanks for the comment though I'll add it to my wishlist on steam but it is currently £50 😧
