  • Today, I'm taking you on a tour of Reykjavik's hidden gem, the Kolaportið Flea Market. Nestled by the old harbor, this bustling marketplace is the perfect spot to get a taste of authentic Icelandic culture.
As we wander through the aisles, you'll see a mix of vintage goods, local crafts, and even some eccentric items you'd never expect! And let's not forget the traditional Icelandic food section-yes, fermented shark included.
But what sets this flea market apart? It's the pricing. In a country known for its high cost of living, Kolaportið offers a breath of fresh air for budget-conscious travelers. Don't just take my word for it; I'll be showing you the price tags as we go.
So, if you're looking for unique souvenirs, delicious local treats, or simply a fascinating cultural experience, Kolaportið Flea Market is a must-visit spot in Reykjavik. Hit that 'Like' button if you find this video helpful and make sure to subscribe for more travel tips and adventures!

It wasn't cheap. many things didn't have prices displayed and you have to ask the vendor. For instance, the sweaters were 100 Eur to 200 Eur. Edi's football jersey was 35 EUR, the vintage postcards were a few euros each. Most things were somewhere in the range of 20 to 100 EUR.
