Kirsche is streaming for 80 hours, with 48 minutes of ads. For comparison, TV would have ads for 30% of the time spent, Kirsche is showing ads for 1% of the time. That being said, $80 should not be enough incentive to replace part of your streaming schedule with a full 24 hours of ads. Twitch/youtube are ripping streamers off with those rates.
The big ripoff is telling streamers their content isn't advertiser safe while advertisers line up to offer specific sponsorships with that content. Google and Amazon advertising packages are acting as a duopoly to artificially inflate the cost of advertising by decreasing supply and package options, pitted against the advertising cartels who periodically rug pull in order to drop prices. Both parties want their own deal to be better, and both get there by reducing what the average streamer takes home.
@@iandavidvillaloboswong5180 Around 90% of adverts are about building recognition so when you actually do look for *thing* you think of that brand as big enough to advertise compared to the thousands of chinese knockoffs. Around 5% is advertising specific offers, which sadly works more often than not. Burning a price into potential customers that is made to sound 'special' in order to induce FOMO. And the last 5% is lifestyle advertising, including sponsorships, where the ad is selling itself as much as the product. "click this link, it supports your streamer" or "buy *thing* it's socially progressive" or "buy *other thing* it's anti-woke" or whatever else will sell.
@iandavidvillaloboswong5180 No. Most marketing departments are useless. It has never been easier to raise awareness about your product. Something milk companies figured out is "Everyone knows about milk. Most people want milk. Most people go into the supermarket and pick out the kind of milk they like. We don't need to advertise. We're just thowing money down the drain." People are online so much these days that everyone knows about the latest food delivery service because youtube sent them fifty unskippable ads for it. Analytics have gone from "This guy likes funny videos, here's a comedy movie coming out" to "This guy bought a shaver. Here's a bunch of other shavers you might like." Marketing has no idea, youtube is happy making money, and companies feel compelled to advertise because they have always advertised. Then there's Jaguar...
Fillian and Mari stream all the time how do they only make like 500 a month in ads. When Pippa steams like once a month on twitch and mkaes like 300. And kirsche streams all the time and gets nothing. LIKE HOW does it work at twitch. like HUH
Frequency and duration of ads matters bigtime. If you run 30 seconds of ads every half hour, or if you run like 3 minutes of ads every half hour, its a big difference. I hardly ever see ads while watching Kirsche streams.
Racketeering never went away, it just got disguised in automated financial transactions that the recipients don't have enough information about to realize they are being robbed.
Thats The price you pay for being real. _But imagine how pippa feels._ She cleaned up her image for the girls n sakana just to end up making half of what Mari does, despite pippa being the face of her vtuber company. When you have no other recourse, the only right you have is to go insane.

Lol is kirsche even allowed on twitch??? Anyway, it all sounds arbitrary to me, and deliberately so.
