last time , by chance, I saw an old video of yours (a year ago): Let's Produce Ambient Music in REAPER (Livestream tutorial, Stock plugins only). I was a bit distracted at first, then the content grabbed me and I found several very useful insights. Obviously I subscribed to the channel and wanted to thank you by giving feedback.

Hey glad to have you back! I've been meaning to get back to live streams too (as well as some short form content) to have something for everyone, but life gets in the way haha.

My friend, you are a master. I happen to love to do ambiental/dungeon synth music, and also with reaper lol. My love for epic/metal/electronic music and the possibility to do it by myself in with only my two keyboards and a infinity of VST's to choose from (sometimes that part can get you crazy lol). Really great channel friend. Really. Love from Argentina.

It's amazing to get to the point where you can! Practice programming your samplers and study the instruments you don't know how to play. It all comes together! Cheers and thanks for watching

I like all these types of videos you do. This is one of my favorite music related educational/ helpful content. Ive been watching them for a while. Im a noob at this, i think these are great. The production value seems to have increased with more camera angles. Thats cool

Glad to hear it, and haha I'm glad you noticed that. Same cameras, I just got an extension cable to move one of them on top of the bookshelf to get a meaningfully different angle. I think it turned out cool!

Hey man great to see you here! I've had people asking me how to produce this type of stuff and I've been putting off doing a video on it! LMK if there's anything you think I should do videos on, I'm gonna try to start posting here more again.

Pro tip for any of the few Linux peeps out there, some Linux interfaces use Alt + Left Click + Drag to move the application window. I use Linux Mint Cinnamon, for example, and ran into this. Caused a lot of frustration until I found out it wasn't Reaper doing it. Go to your "Window" settings for your desktop environment, and there should be a Behavior tab where you can turn off "Special key to move and resize windows" or something similar on whichever desktop environment is doing it. Hope this saves some pain for someone lol

Thanks for the tip! I haven't had a Linux machine since before I started using Reaper, been wanting to go back with the last few windows updates though 🤮🤮🤮

@@f_c_r_I can barely tolerate Windows now in general. I love how Linux feels, but getting plugins that were made for windows to work in Linux is a learning curve that I've not mastered yet. Once I get that done, I guess a whole new world will open to me.
