It is against a team fighting with only one game behind city. They had like 14 win and one list a draw since 2024. I thought it would be 3 nil. One of thd first time we could maintain possession against a top team, perhaps because of amrabat and mainoo in midfield.

If Arsenal has anything about them they would have got revenge on the 8-2 all them years ago. We had 3 academy players in the starting line up, a 36 year old centre back that got relegated with Leicester next to 32 year old cdm Casemiro who doesn’t even play centre back. Arsenal played like they did away to Bayern and got beat, couldn’t play any of their good football cos they felt the pressure.

A lot of deluded people around, ETH is probably the worst Utd manager in the post SAF era no style of play no tactical awareness, awful at substitutions and deluded post match after each thrashing.
There is no manager post Fergie with a better record of building a team and promoting the youngsters than EtH.

Think many of us thought it was going to be a right hammering so the performance and result was better than expected. It was certainly a much better effort than last Monday at Palace. I don’t envy the task Ineos face though the club needs sweeping changes after years of terrible decision making.

Arsenal played a no risk game today, expecting us to give them something and it worked perfectly for them. Utd tried but never looked like creating a clear chance. Huge job to be done in getting a United team challenging again. We can only wish those now in charge some good fortune.

Was happy with the performance today, was worried about a 7-0 lol. This team is not a lost cause, there are glimpses of a positive future. Great analysis of the game, Garnacho was frustrating today. He was trying to hard today, he could have made things different with a couple of passes he didn't see.

Look lads, i like your honesty, and the way you present these videos .....i'm City fan, but i watched that game today, as did many other city fans, although i never really expected you to get a positive result from it . .... united, all frantic huff and puff, but never really a goal threat, Garnacho couldn't hit a cows arse from five yards, really poor end product .... just a general lack of quality ..... United players dribbling into blind alleys, or Arsenal 'blockades' (would the likes of Ryan Giggs have done that?) ..... Casemiro , Wan Bassaka and one or two others half asleep for the Arsenal goal..... and in the cold light of day its just yet another loss for United.
But United fans solely blaming Casemiro, of which there are clearly many, really need to wake up and see the bigger picture ......
No matter who committed the error, or who's playing the opposition onside, as a team, you HAVE to remain alert and COVER for those mistakes or errors, otherwise you're gonna be conceding goals, and losing games forever .... and if that 'mistake' of Casemiros had of occured at the other end of the pitch to an Arsenal player, that goal almost certainly WOULDN'T have happened, because teams like Arsenal, City and Liverpool have players who bust a gut to cover for one another, they are simply more alert to the possibility of errors and danger occurring ...... you cannot rely on offside calls, or flags, or players like Casemiro to NEVER make another mistake ..... in fact nowadays you can't rely on any of the match officals to make the correct calls, full stop!,
Arsenal STILL managed to get the cross in, and Trossard STILL managed to sneak around the back Wan Bassaka to score from close in, and one or both could have been prevented if players OTHER than Casemiro had of been wide awake to Onanas ball out, and Casemiros error!

Shocking performance
While everyone is going on about Casemiro, Wan Bissaka, who I like normally, was not looking over his shoulders. He could have avoided the goal as well.
We might have played OK today, but I think that's because Arsenal didn't pushed us, they gave us time on the ball, but if they pressed us the way Coventry or Palace did we would probably have crumbled again. And if we played Burnley or Coventry in a few days, or another aggressive team, we'd probably get played off the pitch again if they started pressing us hard.
I think these players just aren't gritty enough to go up against a rough team, maybe they have it too easy, but they can play well when other teams actually let them play, like Arsenal and Liverpool did. It reminds me of Fred... when he had time on the ball he could do some good stuff, but if he saw an opponent charging towards him he'd kick the ball away as quickly as possible like a little girl.
But that said, it was nice to see Amrabat and Amad getting a bit of game time, and they did fairly well.
United can play well if you give them space, and they can play fantastic in random periods of a game even if pressed hard, but if things don't go exactly right for them they fall apart and look like a League One side.
I don't think that ETH's tactics are really sustainable because they seem to rely on having a very particular set of players, all in form, and if everything isn't right them it doesn't work.

Arteta was actually smart. United is most dangerous on counters and arteta eliminated that aspect, also arsenal have scouted united struggles against low blocks, so after 0-1 they switched to low block. thats intelligent gameplan and ingame tactics.

Casemiro switching off and being so naive in his positioning is quite staggering. Additionally O'Nana and Evans should have been screaming at him to get further up the pitch. I know CB is not his natural position but it's still unforgivable for a player of his experience at this level.

I’m a big fan of the channel always watch every video and I recall, pre season and at the start of the season Tony wrote amad off saying pellistri is the better player and will have a United career as we know both won’t be able to stay. This is an opinion I never agreed with myself, I’ve always looked at amad as offering more technically. Remember the goal he scored against AC a few years back has a teenager? I can’t ever imagine pellistri scoring a goal like that. Amad has show he has a higher footballing IQ than both Antony, pellistri and even rashford this season. But my fear is he obviously wants more game time and probably knows he’s not going to get it as long as ETH is around as Antony will still remain first choice on the right

All the players except one had a decent performance today; Amad was special. I would play the same team for the Cup Final with Kambwala replacing Casemiro. We don't need cowards like Rashford and Fernandes, who feign injury to avoid playing against a class team in Arsenal, and now hopefully both sold.

@@willtallis5275 I didn't say we shouldn't sack ETH, but Tuchel isn't the answer in my opinion and that was the point I was replying to. Ineos may decide to sack ETH or equally keep ETH because of financial constraints and the profit and sustainability rules. Sacking him and the coaches means paying them off. Not qualifying for Europe means less revenue and also less sponsorship and penalties from existing sponsorship deals. All of that would be in the loss column and restrict how much investment could be made in the summer unless they can offload at a profit the current playing squad and only home grown players like Rashford would be pure profit. Making any kind of profit on a lot of our players will be hard given the stupid money we paid for them (and that in itself was so the Glazers could leverage more money against higher priced assets) so the decision will be far wider than a football one sadly. The club has been destroyed.

They watched a different game to me ,we were rubbish, people saying Amarabat played well,it was probably his best game for us,but he still gave the ball away cheaply at time's, luckily for him we got away with it
