Throws N' Brews I have a question though. I noticed 67g is the very sweet spot for me when it comes to plastics. Because I play speedy tricks. Anything over 67g is just too heavy. Even half a gram. But is the Skyva stable for its 66 gram weight?
Enjoyed this alot. For the next episode, I would try to cut down the time a little bit. People tend to stay away from longer videos, so it may push the views up.
great reviews!! my favorite out of all of them is the protostar, the daydream is cool but to massive. first base is cool but like you said its a little light. And the next yoyo I want to try is the skyva.
Nice video, I plan on doing another Shootout in a couple months and The Protostar is definitely on the list. All I here is how good it is. Wonder what Yoyofactory is cooking up for that New New you mentioned?
great review, but i with you would have talked about durability for example i have hit my reply tens of times and nothing changed however i gave my skyva a medium hit and the bearing seat broke. so duriblility is important for these yoyos, especialy because we carry them everywhere
I just got my daydream with my horizon ultra, it is my favorite plastic already, have yet to receive my fools gold yeti 2.0 but the daydream is gonna be hard to top
Its so big and different than any metal yo-yo I'm hesitant to say yes. If we're talking about smoothness and spin time, yeah, but its just so different.
aroundthefur all that would do is make the rims slightly lighter. putting a little titanium on a non-titanium yoyo doesn't next to nothing, and is just a gimmick to push up the price and get people to buy a cheap product.
Sam Hicks it would do the same exact thing as putting aluminum rings in a non aluminum yoyo.... focus the weight to the rims. it would be a little lighter which is exactly why I said they should do that. maybe some people want a 64 gram protostar.
Throws N' Brews take a razor blade and stick it between the bearing and spacer and wiggle and rotate the whole way around the bearing until the spacer pops off. really easy and won't dent or mark up the spacers as pliers would
You can, but its not a hubstack and you can do that on lots of yo-yos with fingerspin cups. It doesn't work like a hubstack, though because its its still just a solid piece of plastic. Hubstacks are independent of the body of the yo-yo.
Throws N' Brews well it depends on certain factors. Tricks you do, skill level, bearing. But to be fair it is a plastic, i just dont think its stable enough for when you get over the intermediate hump. I have the same issue with the skyva tilting though not nearly as bad as the freehand. Doesent help that any attempt to add weight to it just doubles the vibe haha.
Great review ! we hear what you need! we will do some improvement. Thank you
I love the Speedaholic, you guys did a great job.
hello c3yoyodesign I want to order also a speedaholic to practice my finger spin and other tricks..
Loving how you've added energy to your videos. Been a fan for a few months now.
The Protostar shape won the World yoyo contest. Just added two grams for Jensen's specifications.
Yeah, the Northstar isn't a current production model, though. At least not for the moment. Apparently there's a 2017 model coming out soon.
Throws N' Brews Yep. With fingerspin capabilities too. Hahaha. Fingerspin all the yoyos. I Hope it costs less, at least under 25$.
Throws N' Brews I have a question though. I noticed 67g is the very sweet spot for me when it comes to plastics. Because I play speedy tricks. Anything over 67g is just too heavy. Even half a gram. But is the Skyva stable for its 66 gram weight?
There will be no better plastic yoyo than the Protostar. Ever.
ErickØSX replay pro has the same stability yet can grind and fingerspin. Ill take the replay. Its all opinion.
there both really good !
Skyva
agreed
I like the og northstar
Enjoyed this alot. For the next episode, I would try to cut down the time a little bit. People tend to stay away from longer videos, so it may push the views up.
Yeah, this is probably the biggest one I'll do. It'll basically be a this vs. this from here on out.
20 min isn't so bad to compare 7 yo-yos though.
great reviews!! my favorite out of all of them is the protostar, the daydream is cool but to massive. first base is cool but like you said its a little light. And the next yoyo I want to try is the skyva.
Devae Jones it suffers from being to light and unstable. Dont get me wrong its a nice throw though.
dude, any thoughts on delrin skyva?
that's what's up!! I been throwing for a year, unresponsive. I skipped fixed axle
Nice video, I plan on doing another Shootout in a couple months and The Protostar is definitely on the list. All I here is how good it is. Wonder what Yoyofactory is cooking up for that New New you mentioned?
Great review T!Cheers!
DO A GUITAR REVIEW!!!!!Charvel and Jackson!!!!!!!
The yoyo factory whip was my fav
Have you seen the new skyva colors? They are transparent, and look awesome!
great review, but i with you would have talked about durability for example i have hit my reply tens of times and nothing changed however i gave my skyva a medium hit and the bearing seat broke. so duriblility is important for these yoyos, especialy because we carry them everywhere
wish* (typo)
I just got my daydream with my horizon ultra, it is my favorite plastic already, have yet to receive my fools gold yeti 2.0 but the daydream is gonna be hard to top
Gentry stein won nationals with the replay pro in 2014

When you say performance what exactly do you mean? Spin time? Stability?
Yes, both of those. Its also smoother.
Tom can you make a new video for 2020 on the best plastic Yo-yos?? Thanks man
Nice review. Enjoyed it
Does the yeti 2 perform like 45 dollar metal Yoyos?
Its so big and different than any metal yo-yo I'm hesitant to say yes. If we're talking about smoothness and spin time, yeah, but its just so different.
Throws N' Brews ya I see. I'm wondering how long it spins and if it can complete my combos with stability and smoothness
Yeah, you shouldn't have any trouble there.
they should make a proto star with Ti rings
aroundthefur all that would do is make the rims slightly lighter. putting a little titanium on a non-titanium yoyo doesn't next to nothing, and is just a gimmick to push up the price and get people to buy a cheap product.
Sam Hicks you mean it would make the rims heavier? it's lighter than steel but way heavier than aluminium
Sam Hicks it would do the same exact thing as putting aluminum rings in a non aluminum yoyo.... focus the weight to the rims. it would be a little lighter which is exactly why I said they should do that. maybe some people want a 64 gram protostar.
I'd be happy with brass inserts rather than the death grip spacers.
Throws N' Brews take a razor blade and stick it between the bearing and spacer and wiggle and rotate the whole way around the bearing until the spacer pops off. really easy and won't dent or mark up the spacers as pliers would
just found your channel and i like what i see ..keep it up your entertaining ^~^
Thanks dude!
is he cejay ?
can you hubstack the skyva?
No. There's no way to get hubstacks in the Skyva.
Throws N' Brews from my understanding you can start the skyva horizontally by pinching it by the cups. Kinda like the hubstack
You can, but its not a hubstack and you can do that on lots of yo-yos with fingerspin cups. It doesn't work like a hubstack, though because its its still just a solid piece of plastic. Hubstacks are independent of the body of the yo-yo.
You forgot to mention the fact that the freehand pro is way less stable and tilts ver fast.
Mine doesn't, really. Mine's pretty stable.
Can the replay pro fingerspin
allen louanglath no
allen louanglath it depends on how good you are at them, but it's not a yoyo to learn them on
how long have you been throwing??
Unresponsive only about 6 months, but otherwise my whole life responsive and fixed-axle.
speedaholic vs wedge
Please respond ASAP protostar or dv888
Zeke Bust protostar the dv888 was the worst yoyo ive ever bought
