Dear Luise, I am filled with deep gratitude for every video you post because you are an incredible teacher who inspires me more and more every time I watch! Thank you for YOU! ❤️
Ah! Thank you Luise for some great ideas of ways to use the sentimental packaging I've hung on to. Some is also just plain cute and now I feel like I can use it in many more ways than I had thought of.
Thanks Luise. I've been saving food packages and cutting them down to use and I initially looked for other videos of artists doing this so I'm very happy to see you doing this because I love your projects and like to see other ways to do this.
Ooo, that shot of purple and yellow in your black, white, and red journal will really catch your eye! Fun idea! I have definitely saved words from packaging.
I have a box full of packaging that I have saved, I thought maybe for tags🤔? This is just brilliant, thank you for sharing, and everything you said made complete sense🙂💛
Thank you for the great tips on snippets and sharing your organization, Luise. I have my packaging collected, hoping to start today. Just need to dig up some adhesives. Have a wonderful day! 🎨
"Don't run away...well, perhaps run away...to your trashcan!" - Words of wisdom from a true junk journal guru!! Luise, have you considered creating a chain of snippets (using eyelets and jump rings) to make a journal "belt" to keep the journal closed? Also, may I suggest using some candle wax on the bottom of the mini "schrank" drawer glides to eliminate the squeaking. Candle wax also works on wood drawer glides (your large "schrank") to prevent them from sticking or binding. 😊
As usual, fabulous video with great ideas. Your teaching skills always shine in your videos. Thank you, Luise. Also, I so envy you for being bilingual - I wish I were. I know it is not a wish fulfillment, it is a lot of work - kudos to you!
This is a first for me, and a must-do because it’s so clever. Reminds me of a video you did a while back cutting a magazine into ephemera pieces. I think it was a Daphne magazine. I’ve made some very nice ephemera using your method. Thanks for all the inspiration!😊
Additionally I wanted to add I use my ideology’s package card boards to make tags pockets etc. I cut them an distress to the need size and use the clear for packing up bits or making windows in tags or books. 😮
So sorry. I shared a link then thought I better not. Came back to delete it and it’s not there. I saw a video on how to make paper look burnt. You wet the edges with a 1 to 1 ratio of lemon juice and water then heat it with a heat gun. The longer you heat it the darker it gets. Look like something you could do wonders with.
Oh, I think there's a new thing on UA-cam which doesn't allow links in the comments anymore. I can't understand that, that's so bad. Would love to see that video even if I can imagine how it's done. That sounds like a lot of fun!
Im so glad other crafters hoard packaging. My partner is always asking if he can throw things away haha and he never can 😂
That package would make a great journal as well.
Hi Luise. I don't think I'll ever look at packages in the same way again. Great video. Val.🐨 💟
I love all the snippet ephemera you made!!!

Thanks! Stay tuned, you'll see it very soon 😊
More wild colors? 🤔
What is happening? 😳
Ha-ha! I'm so glad you are having a fun time and still keeping it your style. 😉
💛🧡❤
The packages talk to me too😂…exactly where they should be cut! As usual a great idea❤️.
